Oscar was just finishing changing his image. That's it, he was adjusting something on his head. Then he had this uncanny feeling...

"Is there something wrong with my neck, Princess?" He reached behind with his left hand and rubbed on it... just in case there actually was something wrong with it.

"I see."

Oscar thought for a moment.

"So... when are we leaving?"

"When Tyrn returns; I'm not leaving without him. He's paying his respects to his father and friends right now."

Diana sighed and rested her forehead against Oscar's back. She just wanted to sleep a little and rest off all the wounds she had taken... and not think about the gravity of her decisions, even if only for an hour or two.

Oscar froze in the saddle and didn't dare to even twitch. A moment have passed before he spoke up, turning his head a bit toward the Princess.

"I think that today we should camp a bit earlier." His voice was just above whisper.

"Hmm? Why's that?"

Diana wasn't asleep yet, just resting her eyes.

"Been a long day. And a long fight. Especially to you, I would say."

"Of course... if you want, you can keep resting your head against me... I don't mind, really."

"That's true. It has been. And I'm sorry for troubling you; I'm just a little weary."

"Like I said: I don't mind." Oscar then went silent and just waited for Tyrn to return.

Ursa, seeing that Brann had finally regained his faculties and was talking, handed the other man some bread.

: "Good to see Sword Man okay. Was so quiet Ursa worried that Sword Man got brains knocked out and forgot how to speak."

Taking the bread, Brann sighed. "Thank you for the bread. As for the quiet, heh, no, I was just trying to collect my thoughts. My home is one of two places left that the Exsten have not touched and I was trying to decide if I should continue with the Princess or try and warn my family and those they serve. In the end I decided to stay with this group but... It was not an easy decision I suppose." Rubbing his hand across his eyes, he took a bite of the bread and then winced as his ribs protested the movement. "Though I'll admit, I was also using the time to try and recover a bit. This fight was not easy."

The bandit nodded, slowly.

: "Seem that Ex-tens attack almost everywhere. Was not hard choice for Ursa, but can see why Sword Man would have to think about it."

He chuckled suddenly.
: "Was hard fight, but good one too. Ursa would not have made it if Princess not know how to fight, but things turn out okay."

Grinning slightly, Brann shrugged. "In the end, it wasn't too hard of a choice. It's likely that someone has already warned my home, and by the time I could have returned, it likely would have been too late anyways. So staying with this group made sense."

Shaking his head slightly, Brann sighed. "I wish that all of our group had made it. But... we lost two of the group I rescued. It's never easy to see someone you are working with fall, even if you barely know them."
