"Agreed. Biggs, Wedge, check the door and if it's locked, break it down. We're going in."

"What about the rest of us?"

[Haspen]

"I hope you don't mind, miss." The young man, silent most of the time, sat at the table in the corner, where the robed, humming lady was sitting as well. Conveniently, it was far away from the door.

"No one said hostages can't get comfortable." Oscar mumbled, mostly to himself, and stretched the legs under the table.

The robed woman broke out of her reverie, acknowledging the man now sitting down.
: "Ah? It is no issue, I-"
She paused a moment.
: "Wait, hostages? What are you going on about?" She only took a moment to glance around, and her eyes instantly locked on the youths with weapons drawn. Shaking her head, she sighed and mumbled something along the lines of "Blast these feeble ears."

[Haspen]

"Why, yes. We're currently hostages of some... some desperate peasants, I believe. If they were real bandits, we would be dead by now and our possessions taken."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Diana looked at Otiros.

"If they really have hostages, we have to save them; if they're just bluffing, then at least we're helping out the owner. Are you going to help me with this?"

[Praefectus Screptum]

"Of course I will! I am here to follow any kind of orders."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Right, let's get 'em!" With Biggs and Wedge in the lead, the princess guard advanced on the tavern being held by the deserters.

"No way! Dammit, kill the archer, before he shoots us in the back! We'll fight our way out of here, boys!"
