I just hope all the old char are in like Wolf and stuff.

I don't, honestly. It was already pushing it with Fox and Falco, but Wolf was fairly obvious laziness in SSBB.

I feel like they're going to take out more characters in this one than they did with Brawl.

I can't be the only one who wants a character creator, right?

Course not. I mean, it's incredibly unlikely...

What I want is a clone character menu, like, you choose Pikachu and from there you can have "self-destructive" and "big bruiser" and "ranged specialist"

Personally, I at least want another single player campaign like subspace emissary, or at least a remake with the new characters added into the storyline.

Now that's a good idea. Have there even been any fighting games with a system like that before? (Letting you choose the combat style for the preset characters)

I'm just happy Rockman (Megaman) is finally in it.

It's funny because Falco is way more of a Fox clone than Wolf.

That's actually a pretty fun idea. Take your Mii and pick from a set of moves.

One thing I didn't like in the incarnation of Smash I was familiar with was that some characters were just way too good in the hands of skilled players. Notably those two guys with swords from the Fire Emblem series because they had so much reach. I liked playing Luigi and he was just so slow in the air compared to those characters who had moves that not only had longer reach due to having weapons but also had moves that were usually much faster in comparison. While Luigi could jump higher he'd just get intercepted every time you tried to do a jump attack, and on the ground the swords outreach him. The only good tactic was jump away to do surprise torpedo launches and hoping for a critical launch, and that leaves you vulnerable for too long if you miss or it doesn't critical launch. It was sweet though when you caught them with the uppercut jump, but with the swords users there was next to no chance of getting to the extreme adjacency required for that.

If you still play it, try using shield and dodges more to get past their reach.

Wait what? And here I was thinking they were trying to firmly establish that Smash is not serious business.

Huh when you put it that way I'm confused too. I just shouted it out like that since I figured there would be people here who would be happy about it.

Tripping's gone?  YES!

Characters I'd like to see:
Bomberman.
Since I have a hunch Toon Link and Young Link won't be back, I'd like to see the Hero of Time filling the Link-clone spot on the roster.
Advance Wars characters.  Andy would be a given.  Maybe Eagle and/or Sturm?
Paper Mario!
Daisy and/or Waluigi.
Banjo and Kazooie?
Bomberman.
Maybe Professor Layton as an assist trophy or something?
The doctor from Brain Age.  Because hey, if we're including the Wii Fit Trainer, standards can't be that high, can they?
Conker
Pokémon X/Y representative, as long as it's not a Fairy-type.
Rocket from Rocket: Robot on Wheels.
Bomberman.
