* Sirus stubbornly holds out for a second Metroid character
And no, Zero Suit Samus does not count :P

Perhaps, or one of the other characters introduced in Metroid Prime: Hunters. Hell, even Dark Samus would count so long as she/it isn't just a simple clone.

Kraid? Full size of course. Oo, or Ridley. That would be interesting.

I liked the inclusion of Mewtwo in SSBM, having a character that could teleport around was fun.

Anyone who likes creepy and hasn't seen this Animal Crossing LP should check it out. As far as Super Smash goes, as long as I still get Peach and Zelda, I'm happy.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Animal Crossing has always been disturbing under the surface. Fucking gyroids, man....

Gyroids are based on clay figures that were buried along with the dead. Basically, your town is built on a graveyard.  In fact, in a world were animals talk, it's not surprising to find ritual pottery along with dinosaur fossils.

As for the new characters in Super Smash Bros. Universe, I'm happily surprised. I hadn't even seen the Wii Fitness Trainer until now, but she looks pretty awesome. And sorta creepy-hot.

I don't understand why a lot of people are complaining about the wii fitness trainer being included.

Probably because [FAVOURITE_NINTENDO_CHARACTER] isn't in the roster. I, for example, am absolutely livid that Jack from Madworld isn't in the roster. (but not really)

How about a DF dorf face? That would be sweet though unlikely. He could throw fluffy wamblers and build magma traps or something.

One thing I didn't like in the incarnation of Smash I was familiar with was that some characters were just way too good in the hands of skilled players. Notably those two guys with swords from the Fire Emblem series because they had so much reach. I liked playing Luigi and he was just so slow in the air compared to those characters who had moves that not only had longer reach due to having weapons but also had moves that were usually much faster in comparison. While Luigi could jump higher he'd just get intercepted every time you tried to do a jump attack, and on the ground the swords outreach him. The only good tactic was jump away to do surprise torpedo launches and hoping for a critical launch, and that leaves you vulnerable for too long if you miss or it doesn't critical launch. It was sweet though when you caught them with the uppercut jump, but with the swords users there was next to no chance of getting to the extreme adjacency required for that.
