 I hope it's actual play and not just scripted, but it seems like it's amazing. Also, the scene takes place about 5 blocks from my apartment and it's perfectly rendered.

Combat looks like typical boring Gears of War popamole to me. Also, no PC version.

Yeah look good, but not going to be on PC I think, so I'll be missing out.

 I like how the special abilities seem like they will do cool stuff instead of being incremental buffs.

It seems like they're desperately hiding how linear its going to be. But if it WON'T be linear, say, if it were to be an MMO.. I'd be super happy.

How does it seem like that to you at all? I see no signs of linear gameplay or even any evidence of them trying to conceal it. Maybe I am missing it?

A scripted sequence where they let the dude out of that jail cell.

This. Waist-chest high cover, shooting...

Eh. Looks fairly bland.

I respectfully disagree. Cover is full and varied. Movement is much more fluid than the stupid blur stuff done with basic cover gameplay like Gears. Don't dismiss a shooter that has cover as a basic cover shooter. I see a lot more variety of mechanics at play here.

A lot in the trailer just looks flat out too good to be true. The sort of game features they give early in the development and take back later (or make it EXTREMELY instances).

For example the cover degradation is something I can see being removed or make superfluous.

I am so jaded from videogames showing us awesome features and gaming concepts and not delivering on them...

Anyhow Hemmingjay word from my brother is that this is the ONLY game from E3 he has any interest in.

The game did seem fairly interesting, but with ost games being announced, we shall see if they're as good on release as they appear now.

It is Multiple players... but it is scripted and the players read from a script after they created that footage.

It was meant to look like organic gameplay.

if it's the video I'm thinking of then he has his human friend playing, and later someone joins in as a combat drone of sorts using his touch screen device (smartglass I assume)

Most of the gameplay footage at E3 involving multiplayer followed a sort of script, and you can tell. They use it to demonstrate things to the audience, for example in that one game the guy yells out how another fireteam is coming to help take down a spider tank thing.
