... Waiting is dumb, especially when there are chests. There's a tiny part of me that's tempted to say let brann hold the choke with 3 other people and just lotw for max dodge but that's probably not the best idea.

A plan is hatching on IRC, but I doubt this chapter will only last 8 turns.

Current Idea:

The T stands for trap, specifically Caltrops. If passed/stopped on, it makes enemies lose 2 MOV and if stopped on, makes units lose 15 EVA. The only really solid positions are the Knight, Otiros, and Diana, everything else is fluid, the placement is just to provide a rough idea. I'd suggest taking pot shots at any in range.

With this wall of steel and spikes, along with a chunk of their EVA gone because of the trap, enemies shouldn't stand for too long in that spot. Those that do manage to break through lose 2 MOV, which lessens their ability to breach the gap when/if it falls.

'Course, with everyone there the ability to nab treasure is greatly lessened.

Plan is dum, need more treasure, also not enough murder. Leave like three people behind to hold with the trap placed and then move en masse to treasure and happy murder time elsewhere.

Wouldn't you only need Felicia and a couple of people (I'd suggest Brann since Sword wants loot and maybe Wilfort) to go get the treasure, though? If the allied units can hold, there shouldn't be that much trouble getting the stuff.

OTOH, that 'battle ends after enemy phase 8' makes me think that defending Kuimar, while the right thing to do if only to boost our Lawful Good scores, is tactically the wrong choice - that is, an auto-game over since Ansel will show up or something and we'll just get our shit wrecked without a fight, gg no re. The blue 'n' square is probably where we need to go and just leave the battle behind.

Blue square is an error on Blade's part. He left the cursor on that tile while screencapping.

Also never split the group again. If you want the loot, everyone goes.

I don't care about the loot enough to send a large force, tbh. I mean if EVERYONE wants it then I guess I'll have to go along with it, but way to undermine my authority as group leader.

"Hey! Where's everyone going!? Looting!? You can't go looting now! Get back here and defend!"

I'm good with looting. I'm also, considering the delicate balancing act looting would require, good with NOT looting. So up to you guys :P

I don't think looting before turn 8 is good for us. Reinforcements are sure to come and we might leave the councilor in a tough spot or get flashmobbed.

Bunching in a mob is useless, waiting til turn 8 to loot is also useless. I think turtling here is not especially helpful but whatever, I'll go with the group.

As a note, if looting is wanted it needs to be started on the first turn or we won't be able to get them all. The wooden door needs to be destroyed and Felica needs to move her full six every turn (except for those unlocking stuff) unhindered.

I still don't see what's wrong with sending a small loot group, since as you said turtling here is useless (I just don't want to send more than four people, just in case). Apparently people don't want to split the party even though we have a lot of allies to hold back the enemies for a bit. :V
