Contemplate taking it, then run and hide when we realize that they're all going to die?

Alternatively hope that they decide to not look down into that room being too distracted by the queen.

So, am I to heal myself or attack the lancer? I'm good with either, and I wouldn't be overly concerned with the poison. Only does six damage at max (if not these rules for status effects really need to be put somewhere, although even if I am right still the same, they do) so if I can raise my health above eighteen I'm pretty much alright.

I'd prefer not to heal myself already because if I do and Ursa misses, bad stuff.

Poison does indeed do 1-6 damage.

We should go over status effects in the balance thread...

Probably assuming whoever wants to play FE Tabletop is familiar with FE.

* Xanmyral has never played a Fire Emblem game start to finish. Can't actually recall if he's ever made it half way through one.

I guess that's a fair assumption. Still, that's kind of annoying, and I know Sleep in FEF didn't work the way it does in the games. And I don't recall ever seeing Paralyze in the games either. That may just be me being my forgetful self though.

Fun fact: In FE7 at least, you can dodge in your sleep.

Considering when the book was originally made that makes sense. But its kinda funny now since a few of the recent games have omitted the status effects entirely

...Well, an extra possible point will go some distance (not really) to making Poison worthwhile in the late game.

And it lets me just roll a d6.

Suggestion: take something from Dark Souls. Have poison do 1d4 damage and then add the status effect Toxic as well as a staff or tome for it and have it do 2d4 damage. :P

I should play Dark Souls at some point.

And designing new staves and such seems like a fair bit of trouble.

Feel free to bring that up in the balance thread though.

EDIT: Also, only Kale, Brann, Oscar and Jago have moved. Step on it.
