Freya has a vuln? Allriiiiiiight I like that plan.
So here's what we would do:
Someone kills the merc
I move one down and heal Freya
Diana grabs Freya's vuln and heals herself
Diana won't go down, but Freya might, but I'm there to block the enemies
Also the archers are up front, so I think the enemies will only be able to get 3 attacks. Meanwhile Ceil starts moving to reach Wilfort in 3 turns.
And if Freya doesn't die:
Diana moves to the chokepoint and rescues Wilfort
Freya moves next to Diana and drops Wilfort next to her
I move back and heal Wilfort

Unless Freya can dodge attacks with a hit chance above a hundred, she's going down sadly. I'm figuring that the enemies will throw an archer at Freya, and a lancer and an archer at Diana. She'll survive, but just barely. She won't be able to keep that up however, since she can't out heal them.

They can't attack the front liners with both archers because positioning, and if an archer goes after me then Freya stands.

You guys do remember Diana sucks with vulneraries, right? Just making sure.

It's all down to attack or not to attack.
And you need to heal yourself to survive arrow + melee even by a measly point.

@Soly: Actually, pretty possible. Merc below the archer below Freya moves south, archer takes his place and snipes Freya. Other archer takes the spot the archer who just sniped Freya held, snipes Diana. Then the lancer assaults Diana. Unless this wasn't what you were meaning, but this is what I was talking about.

@SC: Which is why I said we can't keep the plan up beyond this turn, because you simply can't out heal them. It'll save you this round (hopefully, barring crits), but only this round.

I was thinking maybe Lucas heals Diana, Diana takes his vuln and heals Freya? She won't have enough HP to survive much either way, but I could benefit from the extra five health Lucas could give me. What do you guys think?

No. If Freya goes down she will leave an opening.

Freya gets dropped by an archer, enemies pour forth. Diana will survive, and Lucas might be able to take a hit, but that will be a very short term thing because by then you'd be surrounded.

Isn't Freya going to go down anyway, though?

Yes, but the difference is that Lucas would be blocking them from getting past the line. This is one of those situations, as BMM puts it, has no good plan, just plans that are less worse than the others.

Ah, so it's more about the positioning, then. OK, I got it.

... Goddammit, since when does Freya have a vuln. Ugh, I hate everything.

* Swordstar quits and goes back to bed.

That being said, the medic has 2 def. Why can't Brann kill him? 13+1-2=12 twice.

'Cause I didn't read the sheet a third time and misread his RES as DEF. He can kill him fine.

Poor Swordstar.

* SC pats her on the shoulder reassuringly.

At least you tried to come up with a plan, I couldn't do that much. :P
