...What? It's not like I lose Hit and Run when I move up to Nomad Trooper. I was referring to when I move back to playing my other characters. None of whom are currently active.

Some classes share certain skills at this level. Any class that doesn't have this listed on their page
doesn't have it, even if they had it before. For instance, a Pegasus Rider no longer has Horseback, and
only has Pegasus.

The only skills that aren't retained from class to class are the mount skills, Dismount, and Levitation (though certain classes- I'm looking at you Druid) don't appear to have it when they obviously should. So, all class skills should be being retained, with those ones being the exception. It's just stated very, very poorly in the PHB.
