@Swordstar: I'd try to run one again if I didn't have to keep up with so many numbers. I can't do it. :X

Mmm... if you wanted to run one, I could maybe help with the numbers, but I'm no good for plot and stuff. Well... no, that's not completely true, but I have my own pet project on another forum that makes it so I don't have plot motivation in me. But I also completely understand not being able to keep up with everything that hosting requires. I'm not actually trying to pressure people into hosting, just joking around.

ALLL the numbers? Taking into account personal skills, character skills, supports and which one of those is active, terrain, what enemy stats should be, how many enemies should be on a level, all the combat stats in general, so forth? :X

I admire the GMs currently running one for being able to do it.

If it ever does I might give it a shot. What all is planned for it, anyway? Will it do rolls and stuff? Because that would be cool. >.>

@Xan: Blade is going to make or have a friend make or something like that... anyway, the idea is a program that calculates all the stats and everything to make running FEF easier.

I mean, for me, the only thing that would take some figuring out would be figuring out balance for number of enemies and levels of enemies. Actually calcing battles is just referencing sheets. I dunno, I have a head for numbers, that stuff comes easier to me.

Hardest part would be the variable personal skills, considering you'd either need to allow for one to input a non-static bonus, or make the program game-specific through a bit of coding.

With the former, you'd need to remember their personal skills anyhow. The latter would be terrible, in my opinion, but it may be the 'make and forget' way if you wanted it like that.

There's also variable locational effects, but those differ from game to game.

I just want to be a librarian. Or a bookstore owner or something in that line. Ugh. :X

@Xan: Maybe just something where you can enter a number, the stat it effects, and then when it rolls, just check a box saying it's in effect. Like if someone has +15 HIT when fighting a hill, then you just put in 15 in the first box, hit in the second, and then when they're fighting if they happen to be on a hill you just check the box and it applies the PS?

Welp, I'm now working on getting things in at least workable condition for my game. Though I need to do sprites, fluff material, do a little more writing, and get things in order. It may be a while >_>

...Speaking of. Haspen, can I please get that tileset off you again? :P
