Support ranks can give DMG (base), DEF, Hit, Evasion, Critical and Dodge.

And yes Anima is the most 'offensive' affinity in the game.

I actually think Fire was my other choice too. :D Also, if we are going for ultra anima support, might I suggest Vantage as the support ability, assuming that's possible.

In order:

Vantage makes it so you get first strike, even if the enemy triggers the attack, so long as you can attack at the given range. I figure it would help with the defense gap our support leaves. Thing is I don't know if it's a cost ability, and if it is it can't be shared by support.

It's up to BMM, but I'd assume the hero's ability is in affect when you reach the hero class.
