Nah, I'll never be all that great at mugs for one major reason:

Facial Expressions. I'm terrible at those :P

Don't count yourself out yet, SC. You still are at least 10x faster than me at spriting :P. 'Sides, you've already added better hands to other sprites (Still wondering how the heck you managed Leo's).

That and Powder's request was a relatively easy one. Facepalms are difficult since you have to contour them to the face in question, but hands to the sides aren't nearly as hard, you just have to get the fingers bent right.

WE ARE ALL GOING TO COME OUT OF THIS AS MASTER SPRITERS AND IT WILL BE AWESOME, SO HELP ME DRAGON.

I can answer that easily: if it's not something simple, like adding a bang to cover up a bit of forehead or redrawing a little part of clothing to make up for hair that was deleted, then I had nothing to do with creating it. Leo's hands, like all the magical effects, came from... elsewhere. :3

Anyway, I've peaked. My speed merely comes from experience. That seems to be how it is with me and a lot of lifeskills: I get to middling rank extremely quickly and then I stay there forever. :P

I'm half decent at sprites.

The problem is it takes me forever. As in hours. Over multiple weeks. >.<

I think the quickest I've thrown a mug together from 'scratch' - not making a small edit to something someone else asked me to do - is about thirty minutes. It depends on if I'm inspired or not. My average time is probably about an hour, with a couple 90 and 120 minute outliers. >.>

I think my longest sprite was about four hours total, spread out over a couple of days. My shortest was Derick's first sprite at maybe 5 minutes, which needed almost no edits thanks to being a near-exact clone of Guy :P

Ok, I haven't read up enough to know how bad it is, but I know I've been called in and absent. My bad. I'll try not to make a habit of it.

Ansel steepled his hands in front of him. "Just as planned."

Couldn't resist.

Still not quite sure how we're rescuing you tbh. Unless you get yourself thrown in a cell. Insult the king/try to kill him?

Runing a game in true Fire Emblem style calls for a few conventions.

And sadly, I hoped to have the map done tonight for troop placement and statification, but my lil brother is shitting in that pool.

Literally or figuratively?

Figuratively. Even if we had a pool, I'm not sure how that would directly effect my mapmaking.
