@Culise: No rejoining - permadeath is permadeath :P

@Olison: Chill, I'm just theoretizing. I need to somehow kill off some people but on other hand I don't just want to roll a dice and plotkill someone on spot v:
Maybe I will make a limit on KOs, 3 or so. Your body can take only so much pounding v;

I'd say do the opposite of the current system-No death counter, immediately drop on 0 hp, but not dead, just injured. The third injury results in DEATH.

And possibly have a system to allow for injuries to heal if you can go long enough without getting clobbered or something.

You're welcome, Peach. ^^^

I kind of agree with Blademaster on the other points.

Hm, I had an idea for death when I was working on my FEF-inspired monstrosity that I may/may not pick up again that might interest you.

Basically let's say an attack takes you to zero health or below, what happens is that your health gets shot back up to full, you counter if you could of with the attack, and the rest of the attack is broke off. The character gains a counter/mark/tally and if they gain three counters/marks/tallies then they die instead of regain health.

No downing, all fighting, and if someone messes up enough it's entirely possible to kill someone in one turn.

Figured the counters would carry over battle to battle, but at the end of a chapter/battle/map everyone lost a counter. No 'if you don't gain a counter this map you lose a counter' because that's just cruel to the meatshields who often have to take the counters in the first place for other people.

I figure, and still do, that it would be interesting to see what comes about with it.

Man, lots of good ideas here re: death and KOs. I wonder which one I should steal c:
BMM, are you rolling levels or is that going to wait until after this mini-chapter is over?

The important thing to take away from this is the RNG still hates everyone.
