What are the other guy's chances?
Ursa?
Otiros?
If Otiros can drop him then the other guys can drop the lancer. Ursa should be able to.

I think that you guys retreating is the better option to be honest. Even if we switch who shoots the Merc, you guys dropping back is better cause it allows other people to actually do stuff instead of just try to swoop around.

Edit: Yes, Otrios can drop the Merc, but Oscar does like.. 4 to the Lancer and unless Ursa uses his hatchet, he has like... 76 hit against the lancer. Which is fine I guess. I dunno. Eiiiiiither way, I'm sticking with you two retreating is for the best. Because no offense, you two can't take them by yourselves. And we'll be able to rescue Freya in time, it'll be fine.

If we break the line we'll be screwed as Diana proved last turn.

Yes, which is why we're not breaking the line, we're just going back a bit.

Edit: I mean, we could switch Diana and Lucas's position if we wanted, allow Diana to take a few more hits since she's a bit tankier.

I said no. I'm not letting Freya get an injury because of a stupid move that wasn't her fault.
If we follow my plan Diana and I will survive this turn if Blade is so kind to send the swordsman after her.

And I'm telling you that Freya's not likely to get an injury. By you two moving back, you actually allow others to help you instead of being forced to tank the entire thing yourself.

Edit: Like... Ok. Lets say that you guys retreat, Otrios shoots the dude, Ursa kills the lancer, etc. We can then have two archers fighting the dudes that you're facing, plus you two. Like... lets say this:

Lucas retreats, grabs a vuln from Wilfort, heals self. Diana retreats next to him, trades for a vuln, uses it. You then face enemies and can have the archers supporting you. If you two just stand there, you don't have the archers supporting you.

Editedit: Is there actually any way to tell the difference between an Elite Axeman and a regular axeman?

I don't know if we can grab a vuln from a downed guy but if we can that's a good plan.

Either way, I still think you two pulling back is the better option. It'll allow for better attacks, etc.

Finally I figured out how to remake our defense line:
Someone kills the merc in front of me.
I move down one and use a vuln.
Diana moves up one, grabs a vuln and heals Wilfort.
Next turn most likely we three will have survived, Beltana kills the guy in front of Diana and Wilfort moves to heal Freya.
Player phase comes in and Freya is healed.
Freya grabs Wilfort's vuln and rescues him.
Diana moves where Wilfort was, grabs the vuln and heals herself.
I grab Wilfort from Freya and drop him next to me.

Hopefully that'll hold us until we get reinforcements.

See, here's the thing. You heal Wilfort instead of Diana, Diana's quite possibly going down. An archer and a lance to the face don't end well for Diana. Also that requires them to do what we want them to do which isn't guaranteed.

Edit: Yeah, archer+ either lancer or axe means a downed Diana.

That's why I'd like Blade to not troll us at least for this time.

Ahah. Ahahahaha. Ha. Seriously. Diana using a vuln is a much better choice.

Like... regardless of thinking that retreating or holding is the better option, having Diana use the vuln when Ciel will be able to reach Wilfort in time to heal him. Freya can be rescued which will stop the count temporarily and give us time to heal, etc.

Only Diana can rescue her and her speed will take a dump allowing guys to double bang her.
