You guys should probably start arguing about who needs what more in terms of weaponry.

Can we see the tomes then? It would suck if we spent all moni on physical weapons when there were superduper magics across the street.

Besides I didn't get much of a chance to use up my flux :P

I wouldn't mind an iron axe for Ursa, in case he gets stuck in and needs something with a bit more accuracy than a hand axe (goddamn, why are hand axes so terrible?).

Then again, I'm sure a lot of people have low weapon qualities by this point so save Ursa for last.

Doubt the chance will come, but in case it does in my absence, I'm mainly interested in a vulnurary (Which I think mine should only have one use left.) and any knife or dagger, preferrably some throwing knife.

Weapon qualities now reflect reality again.

'M good. Magic tends to be the lesser chosen thing to resist (due large in part because most enemies are of the physical variety meant to counter themselves), so getting a high MT on that is often bonus instead of necessity. Partially thinking about making an anti-magic fencer to counter that sort of prevailing concept.

You'd think that with the prevalence of magic, people would actually react and counter it effectively. Longbow archers, specialized melee units, pure water, etc. Of course, its hard to point at a fantasy universe where magic doesn't feel tacked on anyhow. Eberron is the best I can think of really that tries to circumvent that.

Helps that you can get imbue since you're going for having some Mag anyhow and can trade it off when MAG becomes more useful than just healing. By then the [STAT]% actually come up every so often too. Dark magic's high MT would help offset your lower-than-a-mage's MAG, but honestly you should only be using that against those it would be most effective with (melee).

It's quite the nice concept that can counter a wide variety of people. You'd need to be careful to watch your CON so you don't suffer too much SPD loss however, may need to put a few points into CON at start.

Welp early on with iron weps we shouldn't probably even have crushing swords, just the regular boring ones.
After promoting 9 CON and 5 bonus from prof should take most of the weapons weight.

And I just found out that an iron rapier is a pretty damn good weapon.

I might need a new weapon or two and a vulnerary. All I got is a damn iron sword. *grumble*

Sorry, wood hauling is going somewhat disastrously so I'm in a bad mood. Had trouble getting the saw to start, had trouble getting the splitter off the trailer, then the splitter wouldn't start (and while trying to crank it the damn cord jerked and I punched myself in the jaw hard enough that I hurt my neck), then it turned out the splitter had a hole in the oil tank, and now my grandpa's brought it home to fix and I headed back up here to see what I'm missing. I'll probably be out way later than I wanted to be due to all these delays. >.<
