MTG's original set is the most overpowered, since balance wasn't really a thing back then. I'd say its power curve is roughly the shape of an upside down bell, with the older side higher than the newer side.

... And I'm fairly sure some cards weren't MEANT to be so OP, like Skullclamp.

On the other hand, Wizards is still printing new and different Jaces, for some reason.

It is this trend I hate... let me put it down

Ultra Super Rare Cards!

Damn it card games! It is bad enough to collect you without you intentionally making the super mega ultra rare cards that are essentially to build good decks. Pokémon did it and now Magic the Gathering...

Honestly I am not a millionaire

The solution being "don't play tournaments" :P

Or play online on cockatrice or something.

E: Also I'm pretty sure there are other types of tournament where people don't bring their own deck but rather pass boosters around to build a deck on the fly.

Games that have lava/lots of cliffs and vehicles in the same area, because I drive like a lunatic in every game, I will occasionally (as in, more than once.) have my fun joyride abruptly ended by some lava or sudden drop I didn't see when I was using from terrain as an improvised ramp.

Volcano land maps in general bug me a bit as well.

Pubstomping Focused Mechanics

Characters or Weapons or whatever that exist only to wreck disorganized pub play, but have simple counters that make it near useless against opponents that are actually any good.

In other words, these are to make beating people well below your skill level easier, because you wouldn't have beat them otherwise, right?

Examples include TF2 items like the Eyelander (get stacking bonuses for melee killstreaks), Airstrike (Killstreak for more clip size, but situational) or moba characters like Riki (Assassin carry with permenent invisibility, but cannot farm well overwise, main perk countered with vision items)

I never did figure out the point of the eyelander; I always got wtfpwned any time I tried to use it.

Eyelander isn't really a pubstomp weapon. It's only EFFECTIVE in pubs, but without a strong defensive position to fall back to (read: dispensers to heal up), it's not that effective. Because of the wealth of other swords, eyelander is only really viable when running "full" demoknight (booties). Melee being rather not viable in comp is just due to GETTING there being so hard (see: the sorry state of pyro in hl).

That said, yeah, I have gotten 23 heads on multiple occasions (they always involve running off to heal at a dispenser, safe behind a sentry, though). But memegineering with the Jag can also result in ridiculous situations (cp_steel, I'm looking at you). I could list any number of other examples. I don't really need pubstomping weapons to pubstomp, it's just more fun that way.

E: Also, the point of the eyelander is you becoming a 235 scout with free crits.

You can always swap your shield later, and then be a 235 hp scout (with a stickybomb launcher)

Duuuuuuhhhh... how do you shoot in full-auto? Ohh well at least burst fire... doesn't exist

Played CS-Go and one thing that immediately pissed me off is that the characters absolutely do NOT know how to use their weapons... They are outright incompetent.

So you would think because outside a few select weapons the fact that full-auto sucks would mean that a weapons would have Burst fire or automatic burst fire. But Nope... "Click click click click click" against single enemies. Nevermind that many weapons, even the ones featured in CS-Go, don't even allow you to full auto them.

I hate when games have this level of... UGH!!!

But Neo, you are controlling the characters. If they're incompetent then, well...
