SJW, manginas and feminiazis that are starting to infest my dear hobby.
What a very subtle parody! The misspelling was a particularly nice touch.
Yeah, I can't even tell if this is serious or unfunny satire.

I think it's a joke because if it were serious they would work in "cuck" somehow.

Yeah, the ones at the end are on the way to the Sierra Madre vault, right? Like... the ones guarding the most secure location is an extremely wealthy casino. As opposed to the first ones who guard the open tables and presumably petty cash.

I wonder why the vault group would be harder.

Yes, but by that logic here are any number of things in the game that should be even harder still.

Furthermore, making hem invincible is kind of a cheap trick; if nothing else they should at least be vulnerable to energy weapons. Or  at least stunned by energy weapons even if they don't kill them.

Looking at post history, I still don't know. If I had to I'd go for serious, though.

I just kinda ran past them.

Besides, attacking them with anything wouldn't do anything because they're made from light. Light that can turn solid at times, but still. The only thing that should hurt them is attacking the emitters but IIRC those are invulnerable.

Why would i joke ??

I cant go a single day without entering some game site and finding articles about how frauds like Wu or Sarkeesian were "triggered" by some busty girl or short skirt or whatever, how they bitch and moan about everything that does not pander to their every insecurity etc.
I cant go a single day without SJW calling me a rapist, neckbeard etc just because i dont agree with them and i dont find big tits offensive.

I dont find that funny at all.

1. Stop preordering games.

3. Always distrust corporations.
4. Always rage at criminal DLC , microtransactions, pre-order bonuses and other semi legal practices.

Hopefully moving on from the important but contentious topic which has gotten many threads locked~

"kill all these enemies to progress" rooms.  I'm watching a Sonic 06 LP, and of course the game has many faults, but I think rooms like that used to be pretty normal.  Particularly in console games?  It's so arbitrary too, there's just a big shield around the jumppad or a door mysteriously won't open until you've spammed the attack button on everything around.  It's not like the combat looks challenging or interesting, either (compared to the platforming and fast sections.  And especially the mach speed sections, though they can be pretty)

Right! Especially in games which give you an alternative that they don't let you use.

I remember for instance, there's this one quest in Skyrim in Markarth where some daedric makes a man attack you. You're meant to kill him to progress, but the game seems to have forgotten about the 'Calm' spell.

You're meant to kill him because the Daedric lord of something I can't remember and rape is telling you to.
Would you defy the Daedric lord of something I can't remember and rape? He created vampires. Through rape.

I at least want a brief line of dialogue from the other guy addressing the fact that he still intends to kill me despite being temporarily calmed.

He's a really shitty daedra. He's like the whiny kid who can't get people to do what he wants so just bitches at you to do it.

"No Molag Bal I'm not going to kill this guy just because you told me to, fuck off. No Molag Bal, throwing furniture isn't convincing me. Molag Bal open the fucking door. I have to kill the guy? Fucking fine; by the nine why are you such a bitch."

I do like to think of all the daedra as being a bit like petulant children. Demanding stuff with threats but kind of lacking the total power to really threaten. I suppose it's because the game doesn't cover the whole "they could pull strings all over the place to combat you" or "giving your soul to one means your doomed to serve them when you die". Giving your soul to all of them seems a safe bet because I suspect they would end up fighting each other to claim you.

It's the whole "did Azura cause the prophesy to occur in Morrowind, or did she just lay claim to the events as being caused by her". She did curse the Chimer to being Dunmer.

From my understanding, Daedra can affect Mundus through servants and their worship, but almost never directly, as in, by themselves. This is why Azura is rather powerful and could probably do the things she claims she has, since she has TONS of worshippers, while other Daedra must rely on powerful servants or weird magic trickery to do their stuff. They're god-like, but not actual gods, and have limited powers.

That and Mundus is a rather special place, consisting its own dimension apart from any daedra realm and protected by the towers.

This is why Molag Bal created vampires. He knew no servant of his would remain faithful for long, given he's the goddamn lord of rape, but vampires can't help but feel a craving for blood and doing things that would please him, directly or indirectly, so they end up serving even without active worship. It also means he'll get his hands on their souls when they're destroyed, so its a win-win situation for him. Apart from vampires, he relies mostly on tricking power hungry gullible people into making pacts with him.
