Hestia looked into the pit.
"Someone, or something, has taken Matthew."

She then looked around, worried.
"It would be safe to assume that he is no longer in the land of the dead, if he ever was.

I need to tell the Mistress....but I cannot bother her right now. No.

She'll have to summon me. Hopefully then I'll be able to inform her of this development."

Hestia shook her head, before beginning her journey back to Olympia.

She couldn't tell Anima yet. She didn't call for her.
And she didn't know if Matt was alive, or if someone had merely taken his corpse to....experiment.

All she knew was that a friend of her best friend's corpse had been removed from it's resting place, and that the force was capable of snuffing out a flame of the gods.

Well. For Hestia, it was almost like the old days, when heroes travelled the world to fight monsters in lands unknown.

((Only one page?

The hell, people?))

"I suppose that I should be glad that it is physically impossible for me to have mother drama, as I do not have one. Or rather, I do not know which of my aunts is my mother."

She continues to eat silently, mostly ignoring the conversations around her, it seems.

"That is intriguing. Did they simply not keep the records?"

"It is family tradition. Our parents are not allowed to keep their children. We are raised communally, and all women of the previous generation are referred to as 'aunts'."

Angel tries to reach over to Kyle, [18+5v20] and gives up. "Kyle, that's really mean."

"On the contrary, it promotes loyalty to the family as a whole and not to the traditional familial unit, which leads to a stronger bond between family members and a continued focus upon furthering the family's goals."

"The continued prosperity and security of the family. And to a lesser extent to eventually control the world from behind the scenes, but that is becoming less important now... We are already rather close, and a few years either way will make little difference if the world is lost."

"Why? People are still people if they're not sure who their parents are."

"Most assuredly. She has been part of it for quite a long time. Though she is mostly treated as a source of overt power if needed rather than an ally. It is highly unwise to trust her in any way."
