"Be calm, young one. You are under no threat. The ship is presumably friendly, and you are in good hands. Do you need to sit down?"

"I don't think sitting down inside a living creature is going to help his current mental state... it wouldn't help mine either."

Kyle says facing Conny with his arms out to the sides.

Legion made happy noises.

(I'm sorry but this just creeps me out)

"Wait... a scout shot you down?"

(His backstory is worse depending on your view of G.M. crops)

"Yes, we were not expecting battle over a planet that just started space travel after all."

"I have a good guess. Have you seen recent events on earth by chance?"

"It been a month since I been here last. What the event? Layars declare war on Earth seem unlikely so I doubt that. Humans and Layars team up on Legions, the race legions, not my ship, maybe, I can see that happening."

"Legion seems friendly. It seems....young. Sir Strafe, is Legion a youngling?"

''Oh thank goodness.'' Matt's first words since entering merely because his heart stopped on hearing Kyle's words, dreading them for him, considering his lousy 'joke' on the flight.
''And stop calling me young one!'' Seemed like he had regained a little composure. ''It's incredibly condescending!'' Matt didn't mean harm in his comments, was clear about that. He was letting out some steam from the situation.

<"Oh boy, i hope Kyle doesn't break her heart... and by extension Selina's... or does it work like that?">

"Well, some Layars did declare war on Earth, not sure if they all did."

Anima seemed surprised.
"As you wish, Matthew. It is an old......habit of mine to call others 'young one'. I hadn't the chance to when I was alive."

''Uhh...'' Matt felt guilty for saying such things. ''Sorry.'' He made a note to talk to Anima under better circumstances, there seemed more to her than met the eye.

Anima seemed sorrowful for a moment, but looked back up and regained her composure.
"It is fine you-Matthew. I can get irritating to young ones, and you are no exception. Despite what Maria assumes of you."

"Legion seems friendly. It seems....young. Sir Strafe, is Legion a youngling?"

"For his race, he an adult, they have to grow fast. But yes he a youngling of 5 years, or 6 and a half millions years if you take cryogenics in to account."

"Oh, alright  " Conny lets Not Kyle hold her.

"Well, some Layars did declare war on Earth, not sure if they all did."

"Strange, warlike they are, but starting a unnecessarily war is not their style."

"We know that their leader is a result of a magic girl getting into a battle in the center of her mind with her magic girl persona and they somehow split into two and, if Tabella is to be believed, just popped into existence on a planet populated by the Layars and took over. I think."

"If the Layars do not start war unnecessarily, then who is the mastermind? Surely no people, warlike or not, would go to war for no reason? If the Layars are as warlike as you say, they would rather go to war with something that is a challenge, not humanity, as sad as it is to say so."
