''So... what the hell just happened?'' George asked as Matt sat their, his mouth wide open.

One moment, the group were all heroic mode, transforming and ready. Next, Selina was on the ground holding her head and the others were far less sure of themselves... without a single word being said.
''Why do I suspect they're regretting those bracelets?'' Matt put his hand to his face.
Then Selina started laughing. It sent shivers up Matt's spine... it was like his poor girl was suffering. George almost spoke up at that point, but was halted when Demon's Run gave a kiss to the manic girl. Matt's eyes hardened. He was sure of it... this was Demon's Run's fault!
George's words on having been apart from her loved one for so long came to Matt's mind, but he was struggling to calm his anger, and silently bubbled as the fight began.
