"Sure. That sounds like a nice change of pace."
They relaxed. They didn't even notice that Nuriel was trying to hide her thoughts from them.


Nuriel was confused, feeling things she had never really felt before. Demons don't really feel love--they are literally made to not recognize feelings like that. The closest they came were lust and respect for someone in power, which suited the archdemons well. And yet, here she was...actual feelings of affection for someone. This was, she had to admit, new.
Nuriel hadn't been a brainy demon, and yet...she thought. Eventually, she came to the conclusion that whatever Nuriel had accidentally been doing to Angel, Angel had been doing that. This binding thing either left a bit more Angel in Nuriel than intended, or made the distinction between them more obvious, or something.
It was as good an idea as any. And it made Nuriel feel better. I'm not actually feeling this. It's Angel.
And yet, she kept the mental image Selina sent her.

Selina cuddled Angel, falling asleep after a few minutes, dreaming of her, Nuriel, Maria, Yuri, Conny, and Angel laughing and talking. They looked to be having a great time, and Selina hugged everyone with a look of happyness on her face, and a Nuriel who was enjoying being around friends for just that. They were friends.

Angel didn't fall asleep, but she did see the dream. After a moment's thought, she snuggled up next to Selina and began napping so she could join.

Nuriel stayed out.

Kyle hung upside down in his tree.

"D'AAAHHHHH! ...why are you hanging from a tree?" Conny walks over to Kyle.

"Because I'm bored... Hey, come here for a second."

Conny walks closer, bending her knees so that Kyle's face wasn't in her chest.

"Yes my little bat?"

Yuri sits nearby, head turned up to the sky, hair falling around her. She is silent all through the conversations around her, looking down at her lap before standing up, beginning to walk away, heading to a nearby pond. Arriving there, she'd carefully divest herself of her shoes and socks, stepping out so that the water barely pools around her feet.

Kyle kisses Conny.
"Just wanted to do that."

"Hehe... Wheres Yuri going...?" Conny slowly followed Yuri, not wishing to disturb her she stayed just close enough to see what she was doing.

She crouches down, seeming to relax a bit, head inclined toward the water. She smiles a little, and then opens her eyes.

Demons Run raises her head again, looking up at the sky, facing away from Connie. She seems to be murmuring to herself.

Hey, Angel, Selina, something's going on...
"Hm?" Angel woke up, not having been sleeping too deeply. She sat up. "Hey, Yuri! What're you doing?" Taking Selina's arm off of her*, Angel walked over to Yuri.

*While this statement could be ambiguous, Angel is not removing Selina's arm. Selina will have full arminess when this post is complete.

((Ninja...oh boy.))

"Um...h-hi, Demons Run..."

She continues to look up at the star-filled sky. Oddly enough, she doesn't seem as... psychotic as she had before.

"How's the Forsaken feeling?"
