"That's not how lungs work, they are unable to freeze up. Besides I can make lungs explode, this is kind of boring."

"They can if all the capillaries around them start pressing inward, stopping them from expanding properly. Also, I would expect someone to be a bit more upset about a heart attack."

Conny throws a light orb at Demons Run, then begins healing Kyle.

"Breathe Angel... please breathe... don't look... don't listen..." Selina has a tear in her eye.

Angel starts breathing and crying again. After a minute, some words start to be recognizable: "Please don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me..."

She growls, a wave of blood from her armor and hair swooping out to bat at the light orb before she makes a dismissive gesture at Kyle, the magic that had kept his lungs and heart out of order dissipating and letting them regain normal function without any ill effect. (doesn't need healing, there's no damage since the heart would just start beating again and other than being short of breath the lungs work just fine.)
