Maria and Alistair sit opposite them, chatting about Japan.

Rhadamanthys is by the door, brooding.

Kyle walks in and smacks Rhadamanthys for brooding. And then he walks into the back and grabs a book off the shelf in the horror section.

"Alright." Angel sits on Selina's lap. "Hm...I think I can read this..." She began reading.

"Are you okay, Selina?"

"You still look a little pale. I'm...I'm kinda worried about you." Angel lowered her voice. "That must've been tough, summoning a bunch of magic rings...but you managed it. You're getting better. Who knows what you could do?"

*thump thump thump*

The place was quiet. It always was. Quiet, quaint, relaxing. The wooden floor and assorted wooden stools adding a sense of calm.

*thump thump thump*

It looked as though all the other rooms were empty. Sometimes, a small rumble would be heard, but they were infrequent and dim. The wiping of a glass the only constant sound.

*thump thump thump*

Yes, pure tranquillity. The barman stood, calmly cleaning a glass, the place empty as can be.

''AWWWWW MAKE THIS STUPID HEADACHE GO AWAAAAAY!'' And thus, with one cry, the calm was shattered.
''Sorry, but that's what happens when you die and your body and soul are re-energised to come back.'' The barman calmly said, a British accent clear as day. He looked worn and lonely, his clothes showed signs of wear and tear. Matt was finally coming to, realising that he was in a pub and that he was lying on a couch. He very slowly got up, his headache kicking him in, as he remembered what had happened. He remembered his friends, and internally panicked. Were they ok? Did his gambit pay off?
Such questions were set aside... he recognised this place. This same place where he got drunk from gin just before he gained the powers of Gintama. As it was important to get his bearings first, he looked at the barman.
''Where am I?''
''Oh yes, that original question...'' Clearly, he had had this before. ''You, my friend, are in the Robson pub.'' Matt wondered for a second.
''My... family's... pub?''
''Oh, bingo! You're a smart one!'' The barman smiled not unkindly. ''Ofcourse, you're also lucky, very very very lucky.''
Matt wondered on that for a second. He had heard of his family's pub. It disappeared with the original owner, George Robson, several hundred years ago. Ofcourse, it wasn't called a pub back then, but the family had come to call it that for some reason when they talked about it.
''Ok... so... who are you?''
''George Robson, at your service.''
<WHAT?>

''I wouldn't ask questions yet, my friend.'' The man produced painkillers and a drink of cola for Matt. ''Any food you're partial to?''
''Right now... a mushroom, prawns, smoked salmon and egg pizza...'' Matt said idly, whilst thinking of a more manageable meal.
''On it. You rest up a bit, eat, get some energy back into you, and I will answer any questions you have.''
Though surprised, Matt did ask one more question.
''Ok, I'm in the family pub... where's the family pub?''
''Currently, we are in a temporal reality rift, or rather, a place between time and dimensions. This place often is.'' He smiled as Matt started to drink his medicine.

"I uh... I think shes... shes occupied..." Selina looks over to see Kyle and Conny trading kisses.

Selina holds Angel's hand as they go to the Inaba Shrine, sitting down on a bench.

"Its nice here... I-I like it..." Selina smiles at Angel, but still looks pale.

"It's nice..." Angel agreed.
I feel...nauseous...
"Nauseated," corrected Angel (which confused a nearby tourist).
Whatever...I can't stand this much longer...

I dunno! [20+5v17]
"You're probably pale because of how tired you are after the rings and stuff." (The tourists who were confused by the "Nauseated" comment continued to notice this.)
