Kyle smiles and grabs about five cookies and eats them quickly. Then he grabs a glass of milk and takes a sip.

"Would express shock but I'm to tired and frankly I think I still have some shrapnel in my bum from last night."

"Would it be impolite to ask why; and if not, why do you have shrapnel in your posterior? Oof, Selina, I'm having trouble breathing...could you please loosen your grip?"

Selina lets go of Angel.

"I'm sorry, but your just so cute!" Selina has lost all nervousness, being to distracted by Angel.

Conny flies down right at that moment and sees Selina talking normally. Shes shocked.

"Who are you and what did you do with Selina? ...Oh... Your so adorable!" Conny flies towards Angel, landing on her shoulder and hugging her face!

"I was rigging my house with traps and an explosive trap went off prematurely."
Kyle eats another cookie and takes a sip of milk.
"These are really good."

"Hello...Conny, correct? Mind if I ask you some ques...wait, Kyle, did you just say you were trapping your house? With explosives? Is that legal?"

"Is giving a minor a machete legal? No. But people around here don't really care. Although technically it's not illegal either.

Selina suddenly remembers Kyle is here, but manages to keep her voice steady after cuteness overload.

"Is that even legal? And thanks, i'm glad you like them." Selina gives a proud smile.

Conny, getting over the cuteness overload.

"Sure you ca... IS THAT EVEN LEGAL!?!?"

Kyle speaks.

"Still..."

"Um...Kyle, I would like to make it known that I feel uncomfortable in your presence. Er...I hope you understand why I feel...uncomfortable...about being around someone who...willingly commits unlawful acts...especially since my parents just gave me the antiquated-but-still-valid speech on the subject of 'stranger danger,' um..." Angel starts to edge for the door, before getting an idea.

"Huh? Oh, hey, Kyle. So, you aren't Sellie's boyfriend? Ow! Why do I keep getting these headaches?"

"No, I'm not. I don't think I will be either."

"Ahh, but Angel! your so cute in normal form! If he does anything bad around you, i'll stick him in a dress like his magic form! A ball gown perhaps." Selina whines a bit... yeah.

"And... Kyle's not really my... my type..." Selina feels a bit awkward talking about that subject.

"Hm...interesting..."
As Nuriel began to think (which Angel may have noted was unusual, if she was present as more than a bit in the back of Nuriel's mind), she lapsed into a distant mood. She grabbed a fistful of cookies and dropped into a big chair, wings outstretched.
"Hm. Warming cookies with fire burns them. Good t'know..."

((And that's my excuse to go to bed.))

Kyle pulls out a pad of paper and a pencil.
"So, what is your type?"

"Wah! W-why... why do you... care...?"

Conny flies to the second floor window to watch for anyone else showing up.

"Mostly just so I can make up accurate lies for if you ever need someone to cover for you if- and this a horrible lie. Mostly because I write a story about every new friend I make and we probably have time until everyone else gets here."
Kyle shrugs and leans back.
