((Going to be retconning in some responses for Angel. Yay not being here!))

Anima corrected him, her dual-layered voice reverberating.
"Alistair is with me because he will be safer from enemies with me than alone, as he lacks the strength to defend himself. Cyrus, knowing the trend of people revealing their powers, probably has powers. And so does the newcomer  by my reckoning."

"As to the first, I will have you. As to the second: Firstly, why would I not be part of this trend, and secondly, powers?"

"Um... uh... eh... why do you... talk like that? aren't... aren't you a little... young to... to be around with... without parents..." Selina is curious about the little girl, and glad for the distraction from Maria/Anima.

"How should I talk, and yes."

Angel looked, a bit afraid, as the weird lady? showed up. Yup, Angel/Nuriel wasn't alone! On the other hand, that's not necessarily a good thing...and if she went into the sewers, that would make it a LOT harder to fake having been at home. Then another kid, a few years older than she, ran past her, not even noticing, and hopped into the sewer; then the big monster had died and the lady? went away.
Then the others wandered off.
Angel thought. She couldn't just let them leave, leaving her even more ignorant about the nature of this "magic" stuff. However, she equally couldn't hop down and get her clothes all wet and filthy. After several minutes' thought, she surrendered to the inevitable.
"You have got to do what you have got to do."
She transformed into Nuriel.

Nuriel was vastly different from Angel, aside from their vaguely similar faces. Nuriel was a bit bipolar; either distant or maniac. Right now, she was maniac.
"Sweet, magic crap! Sad I couldn't burninate that creep down there, but maybe this'll turn into a nice dungeon crawl and I'll get to blast something!"
The maniac mode of Nuriel was nearly as talkative as Angel, once she got momentum.
Nuriel hopped into the sewer, cushioning her fall slightly with a needlessly large blast of flame and significantly with her wings. She headed down the sewer, lapsing into her distant mode.
She caught up to the group. "'Sup?"

((Remember, there's very little which would connect Angel and Nuriel to an uninformed observer.))

The swordman look at the newcomer "Just how many magic girls, or boys, are there in this town? Anyway, I can't sense any more beasts in the sewer." He raises a eyebrow and looks up.

"There a lot of magic use above us, on the street level."

Maria shrugged.
"Hey."

Chiron carried Alistair into the room.
"Now that you are returned to your normal form, Mistress, I must go."
"No problem, Chiron. You are relieved."

Chiron bowed his head and vanished in blue fire. Alistair shrugged.
"What happened, sis?"
"Not much. Just your big sis and her friends beating a bad monster up."

Alistair smiled. He was learning not to be too surprised; his sister was awesome, after all.
"Cool..is he holding it's leg?"
He was pointing at Kyle, who was holding the leg.

Nuriel began to shift into maniac mode. Others noticed a little flare of red in her gray eyes.
"Magic, huh? That sounds sweet. And hey, other magic dudes and gals. Glad to see y'all. Anyways, magic? What kind?"

"Hello!" She waved at the newcomer, then pointed at the dead beast. "You're a bit late for the fight, but not the comedy routine."

"Apparently not for round two, either. Let's check it out." Umbral Arrow begins backtracking to the surface.

"Aww...and just as I wanted to get out of Anima form again...shame."
Maria immediately reassumed Anima form, and Chiron reappeared, none the worse for wear and always prepared to fight with his mistress.
"Let us get this over with. Chiron, take my brother home and then meet with me on the surface."
"Understood."
The centaur picked up Alistair and carried him away, presumably to Maria's house.

"Yeah, it sucks that I missed that. Woulda been SWEET! Anyways, round two? I'm game."
Nuriel started scorching a random wall, stopping when the people near it jumped back, slightly singed.
"Whoopsies."
Angel, deep in Nuriel's head, got the feeling that Nuriel was very close to burning things down again.

"um... are... are you alright...?" Selina asks the swordsman.

Nuriel shows up as Selina starts to fall back into her usual shyness.

"AH!"

After the others talk so nonchalantly to Nuriel, Selina calms down a bit and follows them.

Anima turned to Nuriel.
"Please, do not burn down the surroundings. We already have one arrogant drunk lunatic, I'd rather not burn to death."
She then followed Umbral Arrow, keeping her staff at the ready.

Nuriel looked at Selina."Hey, y'all right? Take a chill pill, girl." Turning to Anima, she added, "Drunk lunatic? Sounds like m--" She was interrupted by feedback from Angel realizing that this was a bad idea. "Ow! Headache headache ah better."

"um... are... are you alright...?" Selina asks the swordsman.

"I'm fine after someone healed my sister. Thank for asking, miss."

The group climb of the sewer and a projection can be seen in the skies. Unlike the eye, this one could be seen by everyone. It was of a partly covered in scales human's face with blue slitted eyes and red hair.

The face spoke in a voice that sounded famillar "Hello, people of earth."

Selina stares at her feet.

"Y-you scared me... I... I don't feel comfortable... around a lot of people... sorry..."

Conny hugs Selina's neck, calming her down a bit and comforting her.

"Skip the dramatic speech, tyrant."
Anima slashed her staff twice, and two rips opened in the air, as Abraxas and Chiron appeared by Anima's side, ready to fight.
"Ladies and gentlemen, let us wage war."

"Oi, fuck face! Why don't you come here and address us directly!"
Kyle goes magical again and wields his machete.

Selina starts to shake a bit in fear but is calmed by Conny. Feeling threatened, she nooks an arrow to her bow.
