Maria shook it.
"I'm Maria, pleasure to meet you. You from around here? Cool name by the way."

"I live about ten minutes away. I just moved here a year ago from England, you know? I still don't get this place sometimes."

"I'm useless but not for long, the future is coming on."
Kyle opens his eyes to get a quick look around to see the drawing girl is blushing and sitting next to another girl.
I wonder if they're a couple. That would be to bad, they are pretty good looking.

Maria sat down, waiting for Selina to look up from her drawings. It seemed that she'd been shocked by Maria and wanted some time alone. Maria understood.

The teenager walked off, and found Alistair sitting on the picnic rug, eating a sandwich.
"Hey, buddy. You all done now?"
"That boy's been looking at you for the last two minutes, you know, Sis."
Maria looked in the direction that Alistair was pointing at. She was right- a guy had been watching her and Selina talk. He looked alright, but Maria was somewhat watchful about guys.
"That's ok. You want to eat now? I bought pizza!"
"Yay!"
As she and her brother dug in, Maria couldn't help but think that she had seen the boy before. Perhaps he was linked to- no, he couldn't possibly, she didn't see him in the small vision she'd had.
Nonetheless....

Oh, shit I think she saw me! Okay act cool Kyle... why did she give me that look? Never mind, show you noticed that she saw you but don't act guilty.
Kyle waves at Maria casually.

Maria waved back sheepishly, still thinking that she'd seen him before, before turning back to Alistair.
Alistair seemingly sensed something, but shrugged and continued messily devouring the pizza.

The birds chirped cheerily overhead, the flapping noises adding to the backround music of the park. Matt walked, hands in pockets, as he breathed the fresh... well fresh-ish air. He noted the damage from the night before as he went, trying to recollect everything that happened in detail, including what was going through Gintama's mind as it happened.
Not much luck it would seem. After failing to access his internet (apparently Gintama must have shocked the houses connection), he had decided to find a quiet place outside. Sometimes his home can feel stuffy.

He went to a spot that's usually quiet to find a girl drawing on a bench, a guy sitting by a tree and a girl and young boy eating a picnic. Matt seized up for a second, almost rebooting his brain to decide what he was to do. He walked by them and sat down 10 paces away on a bench as he tried to relax and got out a psp.
So much for a quiet spot to reflect and possible read up some notes.

"Sure, go right on ahead. There's some pizza if you'd like some."
Maria moved up a bit to let Selina sit. Alistair smiled, his face covered in sauce, although he was in the process of wiping it with a napkin.
"Hey, miss. I'm Alistair, her little brother!"

Selina takes a slice of pizza and starts taking some small bites.

"Um... hi Allistair."

Alistair smiled cheerfully and Maria patted him on the head.
"Sorry, he's a bit hyperactive. When you get to know him though, he's fine. So, what brings you out today?"

Selina gives a bit of a start at the question.

"Uh... just felt like... um... getting out of the house..."

Conny looks down at the 3, feeling happy for Selina finally putting herself out and meeting people for once.

"I needed to get some fresh air myself. Had a late night, Ali here going stir-crazy from being indoors so long, and you know, it's summer! Might as well enjoy the sun while it lasts!"
