Anima gripped her staff, and her voice turned as chilly as winter.

"......there will be blood."

''I think there will be anyway...'' Matt said, dryly.

"Alistair would love this, living ships. We should bring him a souvenir."

"As long... as long as one of us still stands... w-we'll all survive..."

"Can we hail the Alliance? If so, then we may be able to preempt war. The Layars are aggressive, but probably not stupid."

"That won't do anything. Alliance won't act in a war between young races. It's part of what shape a race and make them what they are and even if that rule didn't matter, they would have to come down on the Layar's side since they are the closest to being Alliance's members."

"Yes. I think."

Legion move toward the light "Okay, boy, don't be too quick. You only just been healed."

Anima turned to Matt, a steely look in her eyes.
"I will KILL the person who dares touch my brother. Alistair will NOT come to harm. If he does, then war or no war, there will be retribution."

''Y-y-yeah, there was never doubt of that!'' Matt put up his hands defensively. ''I was just... making a pointless comment...'' He looked away.

"Anima, I think you should let Maria take over for a while."
Kyle transforms back as he says this because being Not Kyle is irritating.

"Oh! um... I... I just thought of a way to... to..." Selina whispers to Anima

"To help... Angel c-control... Nuriel..."

"C-c-can i have... s-s-some help... t-transforming...?" Selina gives a very blushy smile.

Matt was now standing awkwardly. To move on from it, he focussed on Strafe.
''Ok, so we have an armada of sleeping living ships. That helps even the odds. What's this with the alliance?''

"The alliance are an alliance of what they term 'old races' with the only exception being the spaceborn humans faction and no they are bound by the same red tape."

"So it's still government getting in the way of what should be fairly easy?"

"If there was, then perhaps I wasn't clear enough. A mother DOES not let her children come to harm.

But neither does she let her children feel hated. I was just worried for my brother. You had all rights to say it. I merely emphasised the obvious.

And Kyle, Maria would not be any help in the situation. Also, Selina, I duly apologise, but it probably only works with mutual love. I think of you as a da-

And Maria forced herself out of Anima form.
"Fine, just a little peck."
She smiled and pecked Selina lightly on the lips.

Selina began to glow and quickly transformed into Ghost again.

"Thanks Maria, Selina appreciates it." 

Ghost then takes out her sketchbook and begins drawing two ornate bracelets, one with an opal in it, and one with a ruby in it.

"So it's still government getting in the way of what should be fairly easy?"

"'Even in Heaven, there will be red tape everywhere."

The bridge lights up "We are out." His arm merges with the console "And are face with a large army, joy."

"No problem. Do you guys need Anima back or would you prefer I stay around for a bit?"
