The hooded man's phone rang, just around the same time. He picked up.
"Judged King here, what is it?"
"Ace of Spades to Judged King here. We've made preparations to head over to the crash site now."
"I've got a freelancer who's heard. Am I needed, Ace?"
"We'd certainly prefer it, King. You know we lost some of our firepower when-"
"Yes, I know. Listen, you know those mages up in Northsdale?"
"Yes?
"They're in town. If you want them in on this, just ask. I've got one of them in the area with me, Ace."
"King, leave it to us. We'll take care of the bastards if they leave Ron's Peak. The group from Queensborough say they might want in, but if they do fight, they'll take at least a day to get here."
"Tch. Just tell em they're not needed. If I hear right, the guys in this town'll come out and investigate. As far as I know, we'll have help either way."
"Fine. Get back here if you can, King. Sign out."
"Sign out."
The hooded man hung up and looked around.
"Hopefully this ragtag group knows what they're doing."
He sighs and sips his coffee.

(crap!!!!!!)

"Quick, Kyle, give me your phone, i'll call everyone." Conny is visibly worried about the crash, remembering the 2 previous fights with the aliens.

Kyle hands Conny his phone.
"I'll go pay for the bill."
Kyle walks up to the counter passing by an oddly familiar man in a hoodie.

Conny calls everyone and tells them to go to Ron's peak before hanging up and calling the next, completely ignoring the photographer guy.
"Uh... Maria, Alistair... Conny just called and told me to go to Ron's peak... then hang up... she sounded worried... do you know where this place...?"

"No. But we better go. Alistair, stay behind me, alright?"
Alistair nodded and Maria started towards the exit, getting her phone out to check a map.
The hooded man goes up to the counter, leaves his payment and a sizeable tip, and walks out of the pizzeria before Kyle can get a good glimpse of him.

"Ah, I see." the journalist walk away.

"Good luck, defenders of earth." He says too softly to hear before vanishing out of slight.

Kyle pays and walks back to the table.
"I'll admit, this isn't the worst way to end a date I've had."

"What better way to end it than with a possible fight for our lives right?" Conny says it jokingly but theres a small hint she means it (DC 12, go!)

"I personally prefer to end a date with a kiss."
Kyle holds out his hand to help Conny up.

"Wait, where the hell is Matt? And Angel?"
Maria looked around, puzzled.

Conny takes his hand then jumps up and gives him a peck on the cheek.

"*giggle* Happy?" Conny smiles.
"I-I think Conny was c-calling everyone... M-matt will probably m-meet us there... and Nuriel will *gulp* f-f-fly there..."

"Right. Ron's Peak is....this way!"
Maria starts going in the direction the map points her.

"Yes."
Kyle walks out and holds open the door for Conny.

"Thank you very much." Conny walks out and takes Kyle's hand.

"Lead on my friend."

Matt finally got out of the gas station all clean and proper and went back to where they were all cheery. When he got there, he was left a little surprised.
''Where the hell is everyone?'' Matt looked a little crestfallen. They'd all left without him. Then his phone rumbled.

''Hm? A- Wha-? A crash landing? ... ... Ron's Peak, right got it. I'll meet up with you there.'' Matt got a map and followed the directions to Ron's Peak, but kept himself from being too noticeable. He didn't want to transform unnecessarily.
