Dunno if anyone saw it, but this Ryse thing doesn't look half bad. If they can make the story interesting (and, preferably though unlikely, somewhat historically authentic), I'll be a happy man.

I heard somewhere that apparently she was added in specifically to troll people because no one requested her XD

Sakurai said that basically. That no one expected her.

But he does that every single Smash Bros game past the first.

Mr.Game and Watch and ROB were both this kind of character.

I'm always so certain I'm not buying another console, and then... E3 Smash Bros Trailer. Megaman ;-;

Also, I might be the only one here really happy to see a Bayonetta 2 trailer. So much Poe's Law, they might even top the first one. EDIT: It has footswords.

Just got this in my mail.

When Life Imitates Art: "It's official, Real Life is now a Sitcom." Edition

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-205_162-57588725/e3-audience-offended-by-rape-joke-at-microsoft-xbox-one-event/
Really? Since when did people become so sensitive at innocent banter (and mind you, she was playing using a tablet, and those things are not meant for fighting games. An arcade stick is far more effective, and she sounded like her odds were unfair because she could play better with one, instead of a crappy tablet.) and so forth, that even dust particles feels like shuriuken chopping them up? It's like watching an episode of Seinfeld (an episode of Louie, Curb Your Enthusaism, and other cringe comedies) or something, where even the most innocent statement or moment of jest, especially unintentional, is all of a sudden an explosive scandal.

I can't tell if this is trolling, or if I am justified in my hatred for humanity. I mean, people can't be this stupid, right? Then again, I think I'm asking a rhetorical question. I mean, not that I am one, but stupid crap like this makes feminists look bad. I mean, with how they react, what CAN you say that is a form of friendly banter that will not offend them to the point of crucifying you?

Thank God the comments section has common sense. (Okay, well, some of them.)

It's like the overly sensitive people that think even uttering the word 'black' means you are the most HEINOUS RACIST EVER!
Hell, I've been bullied for a good portion of my life, and even I'm loosened up.

I think Political Correctness has gotten so out of hand, it's politically incorrect to say how bad it's gotten.

Hey!
You don't call it 'overly polite', that's offensive!
Call it 'particularly inclined to encourage others to act in such a way as to offend no one, occasionally with a tad too much zeal'.

Dear god, I haven't played that game in years and I still burst out in song every time I hear that.
