To admit... there isn't much they COULD reveal that could top that. Microsoft milks their franchises so much that any sort of excitement they could bring has long since left this world.

Only Nintendo would have any chance to stem the tide.

Just heard that you need PS+ is needed to play online. That was one of the big things I hated about Xbox Live.

I've heard lots of good things about PS+ like getting stuff for free and stuff pretty frequently.

Welp, the Xbox just got utterly annihilated.

I doubt I'll be buying a new console anytime soon, but it's clear what I'll be getting if I decide to.

Also I just want to say that regardless of who "wins" the E3/ the 'console wars', I am very excited for the next generation to come around. It's been quite a long wait, or so it seems.

If I were to buy a new console based on the information I have right now I would be going for the PS4. I have not seen Microsoft or Nintendo's thingies though. (Nintendo's hasn't come yet, right?)

I'm aware that the WiiU has been around for a while, and think it is maybe somewhat semi-maybe responsible for MS and Sony to push for new hardware...? At least that's what I figured would happen around the time they announced it.

The problem is as mentioned above, there's nothing on it I'm interested in getting. Then again the same holds true for most of the consoles, unless there's something that I absolutely must have that isn't available on my PC...

I'm just excited for the 'real' next-generation, as it were, where devs will use the power provided by the updated hardware to create better games. Not just in terms of graphics, mind you, but processing as well.

Don't forget that with every new generation they at LEAST try to put something new on the table.

Admitting most of this will be terrible crud and after of which they will just go back to "OooOoOooh look at the graphics and the prerendered cutscenes disguised to make you think it is actual gameplay!"

I suppose it could be worse. At least you can (presumably) use hardware you already own instead of shelling out a hundred or so bucks for something new that becomes an expensive paperweight once the the novelty wears off. I'm looking at you, Kinect!
