can you guys post any news from E3, being behind a sonicwall at works sucks but news is nice for what is coming out.

The two biggest things so far, at least for Star Wars fans and battlefield fans.

1. STAR WARS FUCKING BATTLEFRONT.  Made by DICE in Frostbite 3.

2. Huge maps with skyscrapers in Battlefield 4.  And you can bring (at least one of them, that has a capture point) down.  And you can shoot out supports in the subways to collapse sections of the road.  So much destruction.  Oh, and commander mode, with the caveat being that it is smart(phone/tablet/?) based.  It obviously worked on PC because that was what the demonstration they showed was on, and I'm sure the Xbox One version will use Smart Glass.

And the third, which isn't as big for me, as the first game made me feel a bit nauseous:

Microsoft in a nutshell.

Unlike last year, the actually talked about games, which is a plus. However, the ignored the elephant in the room: Always online and the Kinect Camera always needing to be on(Onee-chan is watching you). They tried to show off some games, however most of them were pretty shit. A new Metal Gear taking place in Afghanistan.  Ryse, an action game that has you playing as a legionary invading Brittan. QTE's. Halo teaser. Panzer Dragoon successor. Some generic mech shit, Titan Something. Also, lots of sound issues.

Quantum Break has time bending shenanigans.

Real shame. G4 used to be about games and gaming in general, from retro to today; and now it's nothing but cops, "stupid people" video clip shows, and the occasional good classic movie (like Predator and The Thing and etc.).

Real shame, I watched it's life begin and end within a decade.

Honestly I think it was Karma and they sort of deserved what happened.

After all for a while they advertised themselves as the REAL videogame convention and that E3 was just a old hack.

It is why whenever I hear about how bad G4 is, I just laugh.

The games actually look pretty interesting. I personally have a few favorites, but the Halo teaser seemed very mediocre.

Last time I checked, Microsoft has confirmed that you can in fact turn off the Kinect camera. (and how they won't even send the data from the Kinect camera off your xbox without your permission, but that's as important.)
