Minecart Shotgun - clear instruction required

I'm trying to make Minecart Shotgun. But all my efforts are in vain. I've tried Walls as an end of the way, track stops, Fortofocations, accelerating minecart all the way long by rollers, changing payloads (stones, blocks) but it refuse to launch items. Please provide clear instruction how to make it launch.

AFAIK rollers won't work, you need at least 3 ramps to achieve enough velocity, and empty space (or fortification) on the level above the wall that you slam your minecart into.

you could try QuantumMenace's water shotgun design.  The principles of the firing mechanism are the same, the only difference would be the payload and how you handle the loading of items.

Is the hole under last track tile required? What else is required?

Okay, I've checked it out - to throw components 3 exploit ramp accelerators are enough. Rollers are not useful here.Also no hole required.
