I've also stayed up till about seven in the morning once and dealt with that just fine despite the sun being out when I was told to go to bed. I've not got total inexperience.
Yeah, well. Later no one will tell you to go to bed, but you might have to start working at 8 monday morning, even if you just came home from that short drink you went to get friday evening...
I will never drink. Alcohol tastes horrible.

If you can remove everything that allows you to tell what the time of day is, you will naturally adapt this weird lengthened sleep cycle. With some planning, this could be used to alter things.

Maybe  ;). That wasn't the point though, point was that on occasion some self control is in need to cope with sleep deprivation. Being irritated and tired in spare time is fine, but if you have to work week after week with 4 hours of sleep, you can't lash out at your boss/co-workers either...
And yeah, don't take any meds because you can't sleep. This clearly is not clinical and you're way too young for that.

Don't. We have a saying: Milch macht müde Männer munter.

Yeah, might be just a stupid saying. Especially when I consider that warm milk is supposed to make you sleepy. Guess that was just a school milk advertising campaign...

So I managed to fight off the tiredness yesterday to after dinner, around 7:30 PM or so. I woke up once at 10-ish, but within five minutes got back to sleep and woke up at 6:15, maybe a bit earlier.
