The NSA's approach to information is "collect it all so we can use it later if we need to". They just grab everything they can lay their hands on. So of course they spy on themselves and Congress and your mom and ToadyOne. They just don't use that info, most of the time.

Anybody in a 'radical' political party is a possibility. Anybody with a web history of visiting extremist sites frequently. Anybody that has made several trips to the middle east recently. Those would be my top picks at least...

I might, I've done some political activism, including getting arrested a few time, I'm not a US citizen or residents (so they can take their gloves off with my data) and I did try to break into a Belgian air force base where US nukes are stored.

Nothing really brave about it really, it's climbing a fence, run for a while, get arrested then chill in a hangar with all the other activists until they process you all. Make for a nice afternoon if you're not among the couple guy that get beat up for some reason.

This is well, Belgium. Security isn't that severe. Though, if Wikipedia is accurate (which it might not be, since there're officially no nuclear weapons in Belgium) the warheads themselves are guarded by USAF personnel.

Besides, it's not like you could pick up the nuke and run away with it. Those things do weight quite a lot. ((Also, there's a fence))
