Which game features spoil the fun for you?

On /vg/ a sort of meme is that practically everything except loosing is cheating in DF. What restrictions on game features do you set for yourself for making the game challenging? Since there already is a nice list on http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2012:Exploit i'd say things which aren't on that list.

I think the most common things intermediate and advanced players forbid themselves are:
-danger rooms
-walling in or using drawbridges for airlock
-traps/trap corridors
-too mineral rich worlds

- Danger rooms (sometimes, I allow them for example in evil embarks, but not in normal embarks)
- Quantum dump stockpiles (expect stone)
- Atom smashers as a weapon (but as a garbage disposal, yes)
- Large amounts of traps (especially cage traps, but again, it really depends on where I embark)
- Metal farming though bolt melting

What's your list?
-Full fort military
-All Dwarves housed above ground in constructed homes
-Don't steal from caravans
-Make Dwarves' lives as comfortable as possible, scenic routes and grand bedrooms for all
-No danger rooms
-No atom smashing
-All goblins must be dealt with by soldiers, not weapon traps
-Caverns must be attached to the surface
-No egg laying creatures, barring those like eagles who lay clutches in moderation

Cage traps. I have musclememory/a nasty habit of just filling the entrance to my fort with cage traps which kind of defeats any amount of challenge from sieges or forgotten beasts
