Hydrogen is the commonest element in the universe, as well as the bulk of Jupiter. Besides, why invade Earth? They could mine the Moon and all we could do was start organizing a mission to look at their mines.

Slaves are unlikely. They have the technology required for space travel so advanced automation should be well within their capacity. Additionally, magic use can further reduce that need via the use of summons and constructs. One of them mentioned an open market, I don't think they are under the impression that humans would sell themselves as slaves. Finally, trying to enslave a race of creatures that is partially comprised of individuals that can spontaneously transform into units capable of military combat is a rather idiotic idea

I don't know... maybe they just want planetary mass... though magic makes sense. I have to go in qbout 15 minutes or less to pick up my final report card. It should only take 20 minutes so i won't be long.

Then why not pick on asteroids, Kupier belt objects, Venus/Mars/Mercury, maybe the Moon, or--idea--uninhabited rocks in their own solar system.
