Walk up to entrance. Check for traps. If none, open entrance.
+1

(13) You carefully walk up towards the entrance, looking for traps, there don't seem to be any. (STR Check(5): 8-3) You attempt to move the wall-like gate, but it appears to be rather heavy and you weren't known as strongest person in the world, in fact it's closer to be quite opposite. Maybe it would be worth looking for different entrance or alternatively maybe you can think up way to open this one.

Look around. Is there a hidden lever? A button disguised as part of the wall? Something else?

(5) You look around and double check the dungeon wall for buttons or levers or any triggers. Doesn't looks like there's anything like that around here, the gate could be remotely controlled or maybe whoever made it is just strong enough to open it without problem.

Is there anything nearby we could use to pry the gate open?

(1) Well, there don't seem to be anything useful even, surely everything nearby around dungeon is desolated to an extent due to monster assaults.

Shockwave the gate open.

You equip a spellbook, open the page with Shockwave runes and focus the energy on it. Then you walk right to the gate and finish the cast. (INT Check(12): 19-4) The strong wave of pure physical force gets released all around you, blasting the gate apart and even slightly damaging walls. The entrance is open.

Walk up to entrance. Check for traps. If none, open entrance.

You think about checking entrance for traps again, but you have already done that and found none, and the entrance is open.
OOC: Did you missed a few updates or something?

You look inside, the passageway is made of black stone and it's pretty dark except for the places where there are torches on the walls, they seem to be burning with unusual purple-ish plane thus lighting the passageway a bit purple.

Yes I did.

Proceed carefully, taking a torch to light our way if we encounter a dark area. Oh, and try to figure out if they have any magical properties.

You carefully walk down the passageway, grabbing one of torches on the way. As you grab it off the wall, the flame starts slowly fading out, looks like they are indeed magical. (INT Check(15): 14-7) You aren't sure about exact properties, it's first time you see anything like that, but it's surely fueled differently than normal torch. You walk a set of steps, passage gets slightly brighter.

Soon you arrive at the end of the passage, the secret door slides out revealing rather large room, you walk in and look around, the door slides back in, closing the passage off, barely noticeable now. It appears to be some sort of library with various bookshelves around, it also appears to have two floors, second floor being balcony encircling the room with three wooden doors, there don't seem to be simple way get upthere though.

As for first floor, other than bookshelves there are two wooden doors, one to the left and another to the right, also there are silver statues of suits of armor in the corners of the room, holding halberds. And there appears to be double stone gate right ahead, but it appears to be blocked off by two large marble statues of two lions and two more suit of armor statues. There's also small desk with a paper on it roughly in the center of the room. The room itself is well lit by same purple torches.

Discern if halberd is usable as a weapon. If so, check statues for being trapped. If not trapped, take halberd as a staff.

I bet those statues are enemies.

If nothing happens, go to the desk. What's on the paper?

Examine the books on the shelves, reading any books that seem to be of note. Also, without getting close to the statues, try to find anything magical or mechanical about them.

Look for more spellbooks on the shelf, and cast Summon Bat.

Discern if halberd is usable as a weapon. If so, check statues for being trapped. If not trapped, take halberd as a staff.
Also, without getting close to the statues, try to find anything magical or mechanical about them.

You look at the statues and check them for magical properties, nothing special from the distance, you walk towards one while being rather interested in halberd it's holding. (INT Check(12): 16-4) As you approach statue of suit of armor, you feel faint magical aura coming from it, you are not certain whether it's a trap or something else, but decide not to risk for now.

You check other statues, all but one have similar aura, you decide to take halberd from that one, (STR Check(8): 17-6) it holds in and hard to take, but you manage to get it.

I bet those statues are enemies.

If nothing happens, go to the desk. What's on the paper?

You walk towards desk, deciding to check out the paper, there's something written on it:

"Logging, Day 43720

Today, R'Lun appears to be not in the best mood again, quite possibly because he didn't got to stomp that one weakling which managed to take out one of lower guards. I told him that more will come anyways, but he's just stubborn like that, as always. Oh right, i need to report about the recent success to Zero, will finish this later."

Examine the books on the shelves, reading any books that seem to be of note.
Look for more spellbooks on the shelf

(8) You take a look at the books on the nearest bookshelf. They appear to be mostly full of various logs, just like the paper, and it will take alot of time to read through all of that, days, if not more. Looking around the shelf you notice a book with different cover, it's red and has a picture of skeleton on it, but it don't appears to have a name written anywhere on cover.

(20) You decide to take a quick look through the texts and it appears to be about bone spells, as you guess by a few magical runes, (INT Check(15): 7-7) they are all unfamiliar to you though and most of the text is written in a language that you don't know much about as well, though you are sure that runes form at least three useable spells. Also it appears that the book was already fairly used and not fully charged.

and cast Summon Bat.

You open the page in your Spell book with runes for 'Summon Bat' spell and focus the energy on it. (INT Check(6): 10+1) In a bit, a dark-brown bat appears in a puff of smoke in front of you and then starts circling around you.

(8) In meanwhile, the flame on your torch gets close to fading out completely.
