(STR Check(7): 10+1) (STR Check(15): 19-6) You smash the lids of some containers open, partially using your head and smash tubes as well, they are tough but you manage, they splatter blood around. Looking into containers you see variously shaped... body parts and gibs, all rotten. Leaving that, you decide to try pulling levers near gigantic pump. You try to pull really hard but no matter how hard you try, they refuse to move, you feel like it has something to do with holes.

Shortly, you hear as something really heavy landed on the ceiling above, ( STR Check(30): 11+5) then that something smashes the metallic ceiling above with such power that it dented. Whatever it is, it is really strong, and big. You hear very loud, metallic, scream.

We're hungry!!!  We get way worse at fighting when we're hungry.  We probably run slower too.

We only have 3 life, though. I'd imagine being dead would make us a much worse fighter and a much slower runner than being hungry would.

You panic and run back to upper level of the room, then through passage. You have to stop almost immediately though, the passage just ends with gaping void, like one from earlier. Looks like you have no way to retreat. You go back into the area.
( STR Check(20): 11+10) Whatever is over the ceiling smashes it again in the same place, twice, denting it further. Doesn't looks like ceiling will hold much longer, you don't have much time left.
You feel even more hungry too.

You eat the rest of chicken legs and feel much less hungry and much better overall, your major wound is already bandaged, so you just use bandages on minor wounds, it don't helps as much as you expect though. Whatever is upthere, even if it's bigger than you, you are prepared fo-...
( STR Check(10): 11+15) It finally breaks through, it's a huge beast, almost as big as the large pump in the middle of the room if it was standing on two. It's skin is burned and bloody, the monstrous beast stands on all four, and it's head is covered with bloody, rusted, metal, it don't seem to have visible mouth nor eyes. It slowly crawls onto the upper level of the room, then it faces you. Suddenly it's 'head' literally splits in two, revealing huge metallic maw full of rusted sawblades and releasing the metallic 'scream', it's so loud that you almost get knocked back. You are not sure if you can defeat this thing.

Well, since it's a devourer, than it must like to devour stuff. If we help it devour things, then it might stop attacking us. We don't want to give it chicken, so I suggest that we make it it sharp steel and whatever that blue sludge on our cutlass is.

Grab rotten body parts. Insert them into the oddly-shaped holes in the pump. Pull levers. Avoid Devourer.
