Quickfort question
« on: June 07, 2013, 01:37:07 pm »

I'm using Quickfort to make fractal bedrooms, and I've made a two-stage design to dig and then to build.

My question is this: how does quickfort handle running out of materials (I don't have enough beds or doors yet for my blueprint), and will it be problematic if I use the same blueprint to continue adding beds after some have already been added?

It doesn't handle that. You should use falconne's "buildingplan" DFHack plugin with quickfort mode on for that.

I have that plugin, but I don't know how to use it with quickfort.  Could you give a noob a quick explanation?

1. Go into plan mode ("p", IIRC)

2. Go into quickfort mode ("q", IIRC)

3. That's it.
