NQT: (notice the bold.  Maybe you'll respond to me this time.)
I really don't see how it could be viewed as communication.
Yes you can.  Next time you lie, at least try to make it a good one.
Hmm... I can see why on reflection what I said could be seen in that light.

No wonder I missed your questions-- you didn't embolden my name! I'm a busy man, I can't be reading every wall of quotes in a game that rests on analysing results and not nebulous reads.
So you admit to not reading posts without you name BOLDED in them?
Quote
Regardless, what would you suggest someone do when they see potential communication?  Should they just completely ignore it?
Quote
But what I really want an answer to is:
NQT:
Also, why would you SPECIFICALLY POINT OUT A STRATEGY FOR HOW SCUM SHOULD ACT WHEN THEY DOUBLE UP ON TEAMS?
Which you conveniently forgot to mention.  Let me make one thing clear.
I DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE REST OF THE CONTENT OF THAT POST.  STOP DEFLECTING MY QUESTIONS WITH IT.  WHY DID YOU INCLUDE A VIABLE SCUM STRATEGY IN YOUR POST?
I really don't see how it could be viewed as communication. In playing a game without a private communication channel, spies are under conditions of existential despair: no matter what they hope they cannot rely on their fellows to interpret their actions correctly, they cannot rely on the other person to downvote or upvote a mission, to sabotage or lay low. They are adrift, abandoned. No, I was merely talking about the previous game and the advantage we have over the old spies.
I read the questions you quoted, then read this paragraph, read the questions you quoted again, then read the paragraph again.  You know what I noticed?  You didn't answer a single one of the questions you quoted.  Now let's try this again.
STOP DEFLECTING MY QUESTIONS, AND ANSWER THEM.
Even if the spies saw it as a viable strategy, what hope would a spy-NQT have that the other spies would read between the lines and act on the advice? None!
I'd prefer to answer the questions directed to me, as opposed to you answering your own questions.  The answer to this question, is in fact, some.  The fact that two people independently found this attempt at communication demonstrates the possibility of "spies reading between he lines."
So you're OK with putting 2 untrustworthy people on the team, but don't want anything to do with the person that put them there?  Why?

So what information did you get about the trustworthiness of Dariush from the failure of the mission you put together?
Sorry, what? Which people were you talking about? The first mission passed so at the time you and Nerjin weren't particularly untrustworthy. Now that that mission failed, you, Nerjin and Remuthra have gained scum points in my eyes. You're each 33-100% scum.
Your realize that the answers to these questions are in the POST YOU QUOTED, right?  You literally had to delete the very sentences that answer your question to quote the exact section you did.  This is manipulation of quoted posts and a blatant evasion of the question.
I bolded the pertinent parts.  I didn't want you to be "too busy" to read them.
Did you ever respond to these posts with anything other then a vague "I'm busy"?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
And you "forgot" to answer this question.

Tiruin:  Sorry for always spelling your name wrong.  Does it really bug you that much?

of all the blasted...
I want to change up that locked in team back to Tiruin instead of Day because of this post:
No to Griffpup, I'd say replace with Daruish.  If you still don't want to, I'd up vote it to give us a fighting chance.

Lenglon
GriffPup
Nerjin
Tiruin

forgot about that

Doesn't make any difference to me considering Tiruin was the one person on your team I was completely happy with.

For people considering voting down I have a question: Why are you voting to give spies a victory?

Mod: How long do we have to vote?

-snip

I would have answered this post earlier, except that I honestly forgot what on earth I was thinking, and I was too tired to recreate my train of thought.

short version: Nerjin is town, Pup is town, the ?? are sheep, Tiruin, and day. I have to gamble on one of them being town. specifically being scumbuddies with Dariush and NQT. Day has been pushing for me to include Dariush on the team, the post I quoted was one key example of that and I thought I had to make the post quick and short to slip it under the team lock. I had to debate between shinigami-scum and day-town, and found day-town less likely than shinigami-scum. Tiruin, I'm not so sure you're town, but everyone else is, so I'm gambling on them being better at this than me.

my guess at the scumteam is currently NQT, Dariush, and Sheep. the Day/Tiruin debate is me trying to improve the odds, since one mistake here will cost us the game. I'm willing to guess that both Day and Tiruin are town, and I've been wasting my energy.

How will you rationalize a failed team of one sabotage?

Down voting on this mission is a trait completely characteristic of scum team.  I sent my PM twice just to make sure.  :D

No, really?

Umm... If this team doesn't pass, the mission automatically fails.  Better to have some chance then no chance without the possibility of learning anything new.  Why'd you ask that question?  I'd think that it would be self-evident.

How... what?
Well, if that happens, then I'd guess that it was you Tiruin, simply because you're the person I'm least sure of among those on the team.

why did you phrase your question like that?

Nerjin:

Throwing caution to the wind is a town play? Stating that voting for a team by everyone on the 'last day'? No. That's not how a townie acts. ESPECIALLY not the power-madness she's gotten.
Why? Can you explain how scum reasoning would lead her to act this way, and town reasoning would not?

Quote
If you really ARE town, Lenglon, you've got to see how blatantly he's buddying you right now. Every "newb-tell" you've stated seems like a scum-tell to me. Specifically how he tunneled Dariush on something that made no frieken sense.
Tunneled Dariush? I had an idea, and then defended my logic when you asked me to. That was not tunneling.

Lenglon: Town: I really doubt she'd go through the reads she did if she were a spy (a lot of work with little reward, unless she's playing a better scum game than the last one I was in).
Do you see this as buddying too?

Griffinpup: Why do you do the Daruish thing?

Griffionday:
No to Griffpup, I'd say replace with Daruish.  If you still don't want to, I'd up vote it to give us a fighting chance.
Why Dariush instead of yourself?

NQT: A lot of people think you're guaranteed scum. Aren't you going to try to vindicate yourself? You talk about analyzing results, but I haven't seen anything of the sort from you yet.

why did you phrase your question like that?
> Me suspecting you.

On the condition that you never dared to shift yourself out of the team despite holding it up for negotiation--this, and the probability of a failure either proving my suspicions (as the other two contenders are both members of the earlier teams and have not broken my perception on them) as well as proving my theory that you, despite all the work and toil, are a spy.

If the mission is a success--no sabotages, then its fairly safe to say that you're town, despite all my bias towards Remuthra. Yes, I'm still irked by it due to the lack of his response, and due to the fact that players out of the game can only validly respond after game. >.>

That, and it would be quite the pickle on the fourth mission for spies to sabotage it. All the evidence is back in the thread on my point in this case, but I really lack the time to shape it up. Preferably, on Thursday I'd get some time to finish it up. Though it quite prods how you state ambivalence with a mix of apathy on 'why you should care on what others think of your alignment' as a team leader, as well as several notions of how you presented yourself earlier as compared to how I gauged you in how you perform. Which has several good notes.

...And what's wrong with phrasing my question like that? Do you suspect there'd be two or more sabotages? That's something to think about, but really unrealistic given this situation in my head. What did you see my question as?

This too.
...You still didn't explain why you want yourself over anyone else. Which you did say was open to negotiation.

Tiruin:  Sorry for always spelling your name wrong.  Does it really bug you that much?
Yes. Yes it does.

Because I'm taking you intentionally doing that, along with not believing in what I say about myself personally (like..pronouns. Despite being told about it. Before. More than twice.) as something going along the lines of This. Again.  :-\

Meep.

One more to add to that query @Lenglon:

You seem to have shifted/prodded Griffy on his suggestions of Dariush on the team--yet you miss the context and softly poke that part of his statements. Why?

Was that all that caused you to shift to me?
