Lots of other writing to do. In addition, I have nothing to say to defend myself against the pure unbridled force of WIFOM. I'll get to making a post at some point.

Yeah, where you post everywhere else but here. Plus, you dictate WIFOM, and don't care about expounding the matter. Especially since it isn't WIFOM given the context.

Surprisingly, that comes off as fear of the consequences, when there is nothing at all to withhold. Oh, but when you announced it in the first place and then fail to describe the situation, that's when it becomes serious. Doubly so for the questions, because those were simply definitive.

Spy~~

Tiruin ticks off a name from the list, rips it off, and puts it under her boot.

Bloody traitors picking on even the most trivial of needs. Now we have to settle for beef jerky for lunch.

Again.

Anywhoo, now that that matter is holistically cleared, griffinpup is seemingly really busy (No note of him from the BM is my primary proof), along with that brain-dead stare, sadly.

Still waiting for you, NQT. I know you're active. The Revolution doesn't run on idle hands.

Well, goodbye then. Sorry, I don't have a defense against people assuming I'm a spy.

That is very lackluster. Can you not see where I'm coming from?

I can, but that doesn't change the fact that I didn't want to go on the mission for the single reason that I could end up being written off as scum. I really have nothing whatsoever I can say to defend myself now besides "I told you it would happen". By definition, if I can't do anything to disprove your claims, either everyone has been told by the mod that I'm a spy, or a nice batch of WIFOM is being served.

Firstly, an 'I told you it would happen.' begins with the notion that some other person did it. Said person is one of the first teams off--you aren't doing anything about it.

Second, you can. By answering the darned questions. You didn't. You evaded, and labelled it as WIFOM, when it isn't. Why isn't it? You're not poking at that.

You didn't want to go on the mission. Did you tell NQT about that? Yea you did. You didn't say anything afterwards.

PS: This speaks against what your 'I told you this would happen.' speech.

Sorry that I haven't been very active here. It's a different type of game so I don't really know how to act here. I asked a question about scumhunting but no one answered.

Well I guess since you're not sure you don't HAVE to do anything. BUMBLE THROUGH IT THEN! Sitting there not doing anything won't help you learn. You might screw up but every failure is a lesson. Besides it's not THAT different from mafia. You'll do fine as long as you just try.

Nerjin. That's quite a long time to be busy, don't you agree?

You're right Tiruin, between having relationship troubles, trying to find a ob, needing to get over $7,000 dollars in less than two months, plus my father's birthday I've been a little busy.

Well, goodbye then. Sorry, I don't have a defense against people assuming I'm a spy.

Where have I seen this little tactic before? Hm... I think I pulled that little thing off when I was spy last time.

I can, but that doesn't change the fact that I didn't want to go on the mission for the single reason that I could end up being written off as scum. Well I'll be honest you being on a failed mission didn't really make you scummy to me. I figured "Hm... Well one of these three is probably a spy." BUt then you pull this little thing and it was just "WOW!". Your job as a townie isn't to not be seen as a spy. It's to FIND the spies. Just like in regular mafia.

You have plenty to defend yourself against though there's not a lot TO defend against. You're acting like the entire planet is after you. I'm pretty sure that NQT was the only person before you got all melancholy about it.

So keep in mind I don't think you're spy because you went on a failed mission with 3 other people who could also possibly be spies. I think you're a spy because of how quickly you've given up. It really is like you're trying to hide something from the rest of the players.

So you're saying that all scumtells are derived from the fact that scum can communicate?
Stop twisting my words. What you said only works before D1 team is locked in - i.e. before scum can 'demonstrate' their alignment by voting in odd ways, extracting strange conclusions from night results and so on.
Then why are you fine with him being on the team?
Because in my opinion the team was already doomed. This way there was at least some chance of the spies fucking up and doing more than one sabotage.
I meant the first mission. Why did you not include yourself on the first mission?
Because why should I? Not only does this expressly go against the 'true randomness' requirement, but also I gain information about the alignment of one less person (since I know I am town). Besides, encouraging people to use this tactic makes it easier for scum leaders to include themselves rather than trying to specifically push one of their scumbuddies on the team. Obviously, all of the above only applies when leader manually self-picks, as opposed to honestly random-rolling himself on the team.

Pup, which team are you planning to propose? I think that including two of the people on the team and two of the people not there is an optimal solution, since we know there is at least one spy among the four on the team and it's almost guaranteed that there is at least one spy not on the team.

Tentative team.

Griffinpup

I'll put this team out there to see what response it gets.

I don't see why not.

Goddamn this game is dead. That's what you get for starting one with less than half players being active, experienced and guaranteed to fight lurking with fire and roundhouses, Birdy. >_>

I'm ambivalent, but :/

Dariush is right. We're lacking..everything. Remuthra has given up--is scum--and everyone else just disappears off the radar, sonar and the radio.

I am very disappointed in you all, except for those who've cared.

I get the feeling that some sort of power role would liven the game up.. Granted as it is it's basically just an invitation for the scum-team to lurk. With no role-flips the town remains entirely in the dark and only has a two mission leeway.

Also Day 5 would have to be played PERFECTLY so... Yeah.

"Pathetic spies are pathetic."

Tiruin spits on the ground in front of her.

"Go ahead and lurk amongst us you cowards! If you can't face up with our plans, then don't bother in the first place!"

Sorry for the relative absence-- Griff, the team you suggested is acceptable. You're probably technically past your deadline for proposing, so I'd get a move on.
