Okay pals, we got lucky this first mission. Essentially there are four possible explanations for the success:

Dariush honestly random genned the results and the team was all rebel. (Dariush, NQT, Nerjin and Griffpup are all rebels.)

Dariush honestly random genned the results and the team included one scum (Dariush is a rebel but one or more of NQT, Nerjin and Griffinpup are spies.)

Dariush is scum and fixed the team with one or more spies. (Dariush and one or two of the mission one participants are a spy.)

Dariush is scum and fixed the team with all town to make himself look good when the mission invariably passed.

(Obviously, I know I'm town but I can't expect you all to take my word on it even if I pinky-swear it.)

Given that the first team worked so well, I'm thinking:

NQT
Griffinpup
Nerjin
Remuthra

If the first team was all town, spies would have an incentive not to pass it (tempered somewhat by their desire to blend in), as such we have prima facie reasons to not put forward Tiruin and Shinigami until we have more data.

Dariush is out until I know more about the trustworthiness of Nerjin and Griffpup. Ranger has requested replacement so probably isn't paying attention to the game. That leaves Remuthra as our fourth man. Does this sound like an acceptable team?

How would you obtain said data, without even asking said people anything?

*sigh* Request Replacement.
:C Hope you're ok there.

*sigh* Request Replacement.

I'm sorry guys but I just can't find the motivation for this game. Its nothing against Birdy or anything, I just can't find the drive to play this. Sorry.

Sorry to hear that. I'll see if I can't find someone to swap in for you then.

Tiruin, you seem to be under the assumption that I care what people say in this game. Words are wind-- mission picks, mission votes and passes and fails are the data. You saw how I leveraged this data in the last game to figuring that ZU was a spy and Nerjin and LS were his likely accomplices. I did that with zero attention to the fog of words they were throwing up but with absolute attention to what they actually did. If this next mission fails, then depending on how you and others vote I'll consider you a good or bad fit for mission 3.

That's some overthinking you're doing there.

I agree with the team, BTW.

...That's agreeing with Remuthra as an addition. How will you work out the result if it lands as a failure? If a success?

And I'm also under the assumption that you think I'd care about being chosen (but obviously, you should care what people say in this game for that first sentence there struck me as...ugh. Careless. Sloppy.). No offense, for if I sounded offensive, I'd be more frank. I know my role as a rebellion officer, and I'm quite happy to check on others other than check myself.

Query for you.

How will you rate the current mission as well as those going on it, Team Lead? If a failure or a success, what are you trying to do to justify your picks? Select the previous team and add one more?

How will you discern any deviation from the previous team? Because it sounds by that single post there that you're going along with what seems to be simple, but hard to quantify.

I think I'm for the team. I'm just wondering. What is preventing you from using the same team as last time? or is it somewhere in the rules that you can't do that.

Nothing in the rules about using the same team.

Then I propose we switch Rem with Dar. If there actually was no spies on our first mission it would be smart to stick with that. Also it would narrow things down a bit I think.

I think that would be a good idea as well. If there aren't spies on the team, then we get another mission complete. If there are, they have to either expose themselves or give us the success anyway.

How? Quantify in terms of number.

Well it'd show whether ME [the handsome devil that I am], Dariush, NQT, or Griff are rebels or spies. It's essentially the same winning team from last time with the organizer thrown in. So if we're not spies than everything goes the same as last time and one of the other four players includes the three spies [or at least that scenario is more likely], or we also have the choice of just going in blind with the other four. I dunno I'm doing a poor job of explaining I think.

Hm.
NQT
Griffinpup
Nerjin
Remuthra

I think you spelled Dariush wrong. You know how he feels when you spell his name wrong, and it is not good.

You are not Remuthra. Why are you answering for Remuthra?

I dunno I'm doing a poor job of explaining I think.

Honestly I'm bored out of my bloody mind. SO I figured I'd try to get into this conversation. Rude? Maybe. Alleviate Boredom? Slightly. Also thank you for the bump on the head. It's what I've always wanted for Christmas!
