Alright!

I should have all the Role PMs sent now.

Dariush has locked in his team, so you may begin sending me your votes to decide his team whenever you are ready.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You can crack your own wrists because you are simply that extreme. Prison does that to people.

I would have prefered a ninth player as well, but then I also wanted to get the game rolling. Not many people gave me their opinion in either direction, so I took that as a sign to get started.

Remuthra: What's your idea on leadership picks if you were the organizer, and as a spy? Would you include yourself, or not and the idea on those picks.
I'd say my pick for leader would be RangerCado or NQT, because they seem skilled enough to handle the position but aren't among the people I know is good at hiding their alignments. This is really just speculation, though, because I have no in-thread data on anyone in here.

Remuthra: If you could know the alignment of two players who would they be and why?
I would look at Dariush and Tiruin, because I know they're good at hiding their alignments.

Remurthra: Who would you be least afraid of as Rebel? And a Spy?
I would be least afraid of Griffinpup or Shinigami as either, because as far as I know they're new to the mafia board. Excluding that, I would have to pick Nerjin as Spy, because he's set up as a sort of scapegoat here, and because from my limited mafia experience he seems to be rather bad at hiding his alignment as scum. As Rebel, I couldn't really pick anyone else out this early in the game.

Dariush: If this first mission fails, who's your scumpick? How would you answer accusations against you?
Notquitethere: If you could pick a point in this game where you play your best, when would it be?
Griffonpup: How do you think the Spyteam will try to affect discussion? What would make someone probable scum in your mind?
Rangercado: Who are your picks for the most crucial player for Rebel win?
Shingami King: Which player in this game do you trust most? Which one do you trust least?
Nerjin: How will the 8-player setup affect the way the game plays out?
Tiruin: Will you adjust your play to account for the unconventional style? How?

Nerjin: I ask because its very annoying.

Remurthra: Non-serious answer = Birdy and ZU. Serious answer = I don't have a real professional pick there. Personally, Tiruin, NQT, and Dariush. Those 3 from my experience are very good players and if they are rebels all, they'll likely be the ones to find out the spies. (Even if Dariush is normally very vocal about the people he hates)

I for one support the team cause… well you can’t really judge people much on the first day due to the lack of anything concrete. First mission’s basically a lost cause. But after today we’ll have three suspects if it fails.
AHAHAHA. Really. So you support the cause without doing anything on said cause, specifically through the art of interrogating before supporting.

Nerjin: Will you pull the ol' emotional appeal card again? Regardless of situation?

I don’t plan to. Granted I didn’t really plan for that thing to get me back into the town’s good graces. It was honestly just me being a whiny bitch about the whole issue. So… No I don’t plan to play the emotional appeal [which it wasn’t meant to be].
Good, because I hated that part :I

Tiruin: What would you look for when trying to put together a team?
Mustaches.
That, and the usual charismatic flair, along with how the person presented themselves in the before days. Granted, I'm quite down on the list, so there's going to be a million factors involved. Call me back when it's nearing my turn for the better because I'm judging via situational basis here.

Cado
Tiruin: I was going to post questions but had to catch the bus. Spy tells would be laying down hints for someone to do something. Saying things like "If i were a spy i would've..." can be taken as small hints to Spymates that they should do something next round. Once we leave RVS, that will become relevant being asked directly what you would do as a side right now seems okay to me. OMGUSing also has a form here as calling someone a spy for calling you a spy. (Also, you got your factions wrong in that question to Shinigami)

Tiruin: What side do you think you would enjoy playing the most?
Interesting, how did I get my factions wrong in that question to Shinigami?

I would enjoy playing White, because they get the first move in che-..oh. Here? Rebels, because it's pretty nice on being the underdog, and the outcast. Spy acuity senses would be pretty much honed in my position as such.

Look at me more. I'm right here!
Tiruin: Will you adjust your play to account for the unconventional style? How?
My play is always adjusting per game I play in, just that I usually add the essence of snark coupled with flat humor to the mix..>_>
Why ask a 'How' if my answer goes along a 'No'? Also, how did that question help you?

Oooh boy, nice answer to the wrong question. What're you aiming for here, Remuthra? How is being new affect your suspicion of them, hmm?

I am flattered and appreciative of this, but tell me, what makes me a good player? Why are those picks more likely to find spies in relation to everyone else?

Tiruin: The rebels aren't sabatoging the missions. The spies are. And from the way you and the others have played in previous games with me has given me an impression that as long as you three are rebels, the spies will be found out. (Your and Dariush's scum-hunting, NQT's unique play-style, and personal preference.)

Dariush: If this first mission fails, who's your scumpick? How would you answer accusations against you?
...this is worded like you know that the mission is going to fail and are already planning to accuse me of that. So, to answer your question, in that case my first scumpick would be you.

Dariush: You mention that you’d rather not take me or NQT. Why is that? Why do you feel safe with Griff?
Because if the memory serves me right you're the fifth worst mafia player ever and NQT is the fourth one, in addition to being an idiot. Griff is fluffy.

Dariush: Who do you think would be the hardest to figure out if they were a spy of those here?
NQT because when he's town he plays so badly that he actually worsens my reads on those he positively interacts with.

Griffinpup: What's your general take on the situation at hand if a spy: How would you push for distrust within the town?
Hmm...  I think I would play off of the reads of other people.  Point out people that appear to be trying to communicate and make them appear to be spies.
Griffonpup: If tonight’s mission fails how do you plan to deflect suspicion off of yourself?
Obviously you and/or NQT are then spies, so I'd just convince everyone else of that fact.
Pup: Who would be your best 2 spymates if you could pick?
Dariush, because his verbal abuse is so customary that he can now use it as a smoke-screen.  Also NQT, because the bickering  between him and Dariush would help them communicate and throw off the suspicions of the rebels.  These choices are really pulled out of thin air of course, and if I'd actually have to choose I'd think about it way more.
Griffonpup: How do you think the Spyteam will try to affect discussion? What would make someone probable scum in your mind?
The spyteam will probably attempt to sow confusion among the rebels.  If they claimed spy.  Duh.  Also if they were on a mission that got sabotaged.
Shinigami, NQT, Pup: Where are you guys?

The subconscious mind is truly remarkable.

Tiruin: How do you think the failure of a mission reflects on the person who chose the people for the mission?
Dariush:  How much will the read of the three people you sent on the mission change if the mission is successful?
Nerjin: What would your preferred role be, spy or rebel?
Cado:  You have a nasty habit of claiming in all the games I've been in with you.  Would it ever be a good idea to come out and directly communicate with your spy buddies without giving them away?  Kind of a "Ya, i'm a spy, and my allies should do this and this and this."
NQT: How much do you rely on emotions, and how much do you rely on logic?
Remurthra:  I've never played with you before.  I'm also running out of RVS questions.  How many games of forum mafia have you played?  How much do you think experience helps, and why does it?
Shinigami: Why should I directly participate in RVS?  You'd think that all I'd need to make reads could be found in everyone else's questions and answers.

Pup: That rep is gonna kill me someday. It could work, but only on the missions with 4-5 people since there would have to be a good amount of wiggle room for my spymates in that situation.

Umm, is this an RVS question or a question based on something I have done in the past? Anyway, I think RVS helps build a ground for how people act and think. If someone isn't carefull, they might make a slip up early that will affect them in late game as well.

Sorry for the absence. Time to get cracking. In general I am opposed to teams that don't have the mission leader on them and pro teams that I am on. Given the flip up here, I've decided to assent to this initial team, bu I'd understand if others didn't.

Dariush
I would have gladly not picked NQT (or Nerjin, for that matter), but they are exactly as likely to be town as anybody else.
NQT because when he's town he plays so badly that he actually worsens my reads on those he positively interacts with.
I'm glad you're not blind to basic mathematics even if you're incapable of clearly making reads when I'm around. Why didn't you put yourself on the team, Darispyush?

Nerjin
NQT: How do you feel about the use of a RNG over just picking random people yourself? Is either method better?
Either method is prone to abuse. You can use a random number generator and roll it enough times until you get the result you want. I won't ever randomly pick a team and after the first mission (where there's only three players and it's easier to spot spies) I will not pass any mission that has been 'randomly' picked.

Tiruin
NQT: Logician by trade. How would you judge a situation like this if you were a rebel, and a non-leader? If a leader?
A situation like what? Dariush's pick? If I wasn't on the team and the person picking the team isn't on the team I wouldn't pass the team, unless I was reasonably sure the person was scum.

Quote
Tiruin: What would you look for when trying to put together a team?
Mustaches.
I've got you covered there. My mustache is long enough to twirl like a silent film villain.

Ranger
NQT: What 2 players would you want to have as confirmed Rebels with you?
Tiruin, because she's difficult to read, and Nerjin because he acts irrationally (it's easier to hunt rational spies).

Shinigami, NQT, Pup: Where are you guys?
I'm sorry for being not quite there.

Remuthra
Notquitethere: If you could pick a point in this game where you play your best, when would it be?
End game when there's the most information to work off. See the end of the last Revolution where I fingered the whole scum team with logic alone but my irrational fellow rebels ignored reason to our ultimate doom.

Griffinpup
NQT: How much do you rely on emotions, and how much do you rely on logic?
I rely 100% on logic and 0% on emotions and I'll get angry with anyone who disagrees.

Indeed. So far, I have received 3/4 of the votes and voting shall end tommorow.

If any player fails to vote, it shall be assumed that he believes the team should be rejected. Also... On the subject of voting, if there is a tie I plan on breaking it by coinflip. Are there any objections to this?
