Actually come to think of it, retardshark attack would be an excellent event, especially since we have a pirate in our group.

Name:  Sprax

Gender: Neuter (appears male)

Age: 3 months

Race minor demon (imp)

class trickster/survivalist

positive traits:  Extreme intuition, major intelligence, minor persuasive

negative traits:  Extreme fearful, major risk taker, minor forgetful

Background:  Sprax was a failed experiment, one of a batch of newly created imps (none of which turned out with
traits considered acceptable by their creator).  Marked for destruction, Sprax dove into a portal which usually didn't actually go anywhere and is believed dead by its creator.  Someone happened to find and activate the other end of that portal just at the right moment, so Sprax is now (and perhaps only briefly) a free and unhunted agent.

Hobbies:  Observing the world and trying new things.

Appearance:  Two legs, two wings, two arms, two short horns, and a long thin tail tipped with a stinger.  Sprax's body is about a foot and a half long, well-proportioned and appears strong and healthy.  Its face is narrow, twisted, and extremely ugly.

IN, character coming soon.

Name: Korgath
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Race:  Human
Class:  Fighter with magic sprinkled in
Pos Traits:  Extremely Determined, quite Quick-Thinking fairly hard-working
Neg traits:  Extremely Perfectionist, quite Arrogant Sometimes Immature
Background:  Raised in the castle of spires, Yutolong, he grew up caring for the massive war griffins and their offspring.  He was trained as a spearman, as all common Elithi men are.  Being small and light enough, he was also trained to ride war griffins into battle.  It's now his eighteenth year, and he just barely had his coming of age ceremony.
Hobbies:  Rock climbing and free-flying. (flying bareback, or without a harness)
Appearance:  Small and lithe, Korgath is about 5'6", weighing 130 lbs.  He is olive skinned, like most of the commoner population, with piercing blue eyes and messy black hair.  His body is totally fit and trim, cut that way by hours of practice with a spear and caring for griffins.

Question, if we get voted out, could we make a new character and try again?

You're both in, and no, this is a game of last player standing, though be sure to watch if you are eliminated, I could feel generous and give you life back.

OK. A few more questions.  I'm unsure how the storytelling will actually work.  Are we all in a party?  Do we take turns telling all of our stories, or do we tell our individual character's stories?

You're all in a party, and starting with the first player on the list, I write an event that occurs and then you have the react with a viable solution to what I write you. Then once everyone has written their reaction, then  other users vote on whose was worst and is subsequently eliminated.

Do we have to write in turn, or does everyone get a task of their own (and the first player gets his first?)

Everyone gets a task of their own, but it's in sequential order to the previous player's character's writing.

Yeah, if that one spot doesn't get filled, I will be severally disappointed.

It fills close to starting.

Do you think we could maybe
a) let someone sign up twice if they are up to doing twice the work?
b) just start with 5 players, since this is where we would have ended up by round 2 anyway?

Cool.  Let's start!
Also, is the story-telling order random, or in the order we signed up?

Cool.  Let's start!
Also, is the story-telling order random, or in the order we signed up?

OP indicated that stories get written in the order people joined.

He also said that we'll be responding to the event that he shares, and from the first post, "given challenges written by me in the storytelling round that agrees with the actions your character, and the characters of others, would commit"

So I'm not sure if our story is supposed to only showcare how our characters individually, or if our response is supposed to account for the personalities and traits that each character has.

I rather suspect that we individually are writing group responses, but I could be wrong.
