The only death yet, even with Haspen knocking off the three times of reaching three turns and putting it to "three turns pass you DDEEAAAAD" was not even in battle. It was Taric's character in original FEF, plot killed for trollish tendencies,

Well, the current longest-running FEF game here has only had one casualty in six chapters so far. And that was kinda a plot death, though potentially survivable.

Emral's game was permadeath and did not even get a good portion into the first battle, and noone died in it.
Also Xanmyral, he had to reason for that to work, so not survivable, yeah

Taricus' character did have the weapon triangle advantage, and had regeneration on his side. He was just unlucky enough to get hit twice in one combat round.

True, although I think the guy had a decent chance to. Can't remember though, was a while since I've read that.

Either way, possibilities were there to prevent the death, be careful and stick around your allies and you should be fine.

Adrien's hit odds were higher, and he still did a lot of damage per hit. Though its possible you're right; it has been quite a while and I may be misremembering it.

Yeah, the chances were just overall not good. Guy shoulda tried to reason out of it, but that wasn't going to happen I guess. Cause and effect and all that though, etc etc. Piss off someone who's a high enough rank and enough pull, and life won't be pretty.
