In my experience, the only time IC dislikes turn bad is when they're actually OOC dislikes, and we don't exactly hate each other, Sirus

Yeah, that's true (again). I guess if someone were really, really dedicated to acting out hate in-character (or was simply trolling) it could be disruptive, but I don't like doing that sort of thing.

So don't worry overmuch. Gordon won't exactly like Nathara at first (or Adelaide for that matter, but for entirely different reasons), but that doesn't mean he'll go all Warhammer purge-the-heretics on ya

Gordon doesn't flyte or sing. He preaches. As in thunderous, roaring sermons damning his foes to the blackest of hells, exulting his allies to ever-greater feats as he patches their wounds in the midst of battle. You aren't dealing with some meek chaplain hiding under his pulpit here, or a healer who would prefer to be safe back at camp. Though he might not fight, he is a warrior and everyone will know it.

As a note, I like pretty much everyone on here. I have fun RPing with all of you.

If I come across as a gigantic fuckwad in-character (especially to Adelaide, sadly Tyrone is kinda convinced that she's an annoying waste of space for whatever reason at the moment, at least personality-wise. Healing is useful, but she's not exactly friend material, in his book. Maybe later, once they actually get to know each other a little beyond 'he's a dickbag' and 'she's annoying'?), it's not because I don't like anyone, it's because... well, Tyrone is kinda a bit of a dickwaffle.

I don't exactly mind some contention, but if that's *all* we're doing it quickly gets frustrating to me. I don't particularly enjoy roleplaying bitterness. Or having it directed at me. I treat most roleplaying more or less on an instinctual basis, not really forming anything serious-negative or positive-unless I know the person well enough. Serious and I have roleplayed antagonism before, and we really didn't have a problem with it. But out and out aggression is something I'm not going to handle well unless we've discussed how far exactly it's going to go on.

Though in truth, I also probably shouldn't freak out like I do, but stress in life tends to come out her on the forums. I posted before in a very dark mood, and looking back I truly regret sounding like such a jerk. I've not been having a very good week at all.

Tyrone is very direct. Adelaide is a passive character. She's not even a fighter type, Tyrone could probably flatten her with one punch. Which seems like something he would do.

I'm in a position of relative weakness compared to you, and I can't exactly respond on a fair enough level-hence the bully references. I knew this when I made Adelaide, but it's quite disconcerting to actually have it happen.

:p In all seriousness, he'd never hit a girl, other than in the heat of combat, and even then he'd try REALLY hard not to kill them.

She could literally back him against a wall yelling at him and he'd just take it.

It wouldn't help his opinion of her unless it was about something special, but it is entirely possible.

All right. Time for brass tacks. The reason why I haven't done anything is because... there is a 99.99% chance that this is my last month (for an unknown period of time) with a stable internet connection. As in, after the end of July, I don't know when I'll be able to get on here. Stress and worry has basically piled up and drained my motivation to do this since I would just have to stop on July 31st anyway.

So I'm going to hiatus it for now. Maybe in a few months - or if I'm lucky, maybe this won't be an issue at all and I can pick it back up sooner - I'll be able to afford an internet connection again and can restart it. Sorry to everyone who was interested in playing.
