Still, his Luck is pretty low for a priest, so some extra Dodge is no bad thing.

Indeed, not at all, although if you get hit that means things have gone wrong in some way. 'Least, that's how I've always seen it, from what I see of your character it seems you're wanting to build him up into something of a mobile healing tank of some sorts. The low health progression worries me a little however, but the DEF and RES growth should make up for it I believe.

If I may make another comment on your progressions? I'm curious as to why you have progression in SKL, that always struck me as a little worthless for Priests, since it appears you don't plan on using weapons of any kind. If I remember right, it only adds to-hit and critical chance, both of which you won't be able to capitalize on however since Ailment staves don't use SKL last I recall and it doesn't appear you wish to use weapons.

EDIT: It does, but its just a straight one for one value however, wanted to make sure I wasn't just saying stuff I misremember.

SC, I had a lore-related question:

I want Gordon to be a wandering warrior-priest type of guy, delivering thundering denunciations to the enemy in heavy armor while urging his allies to greatness through healing magic and (later) buffs. My original thought was to have him be from Austrys (it apparently being a theocracy), but I'm not sure that such a laid-back area would be a likely place to mold such a character. Do you have any suggestions on this front?

Foster =/= Austrys. Austrys is heavily religious and it's quite likely that occasionally a militant priest can come from there. Alcodia and Lucike are also places that might spawn such a person, while Mallerica is the least likely.

On the other hand, you could be a scholar from Maskep who's just super into the teachings of one of the Dragons.

I was actually referring to how Austrys' main exports appear to be entertainers, but reading a little more closely this could actually work out. A large part of Gordon's backstory is about grief, and considering the lore about the Light Dragon it doesn't seem impossible that he could be part of a small sect based around that emotion. He is also going to be fiercely critical of "heretics and monsters".
