I was, and still am, considering going Dancer instead of Bard. I feel the larger range will allow me to affect more people in practice, and the healing effect should synchronize well with Call Magic of the Lore Master. Just don't know how well it fits with the character Bio.

I also figured out a way to take advantage of the way you're having Gamble work:
Fighter Trainee ->  Bandit -> Mountain Warrior
with Gamble, and all of his growth goes towards STR(70%), SPD(70%), HP(80%), DEF(50%), and RES(40%), using Gamble with the hardest-hitting weapon he has. This means he only has a half-chance of hitting with each attack...but every time he hits, he kills. Weapon Triangle only matters since it reduces his damage slightly, since he's relying on his Defense to soak up hits for him(and his speed has the nifty side-effect of increasing his Evade). The high SPD and CON (and weapon proficiency) also means he can hit multiple times in one turn, in many cases, and prevents the same from being done to him.

The weakness is range and solo-ness; but those would apply anyway, for a mountain warrior.

Eh, yeah, I think he's good. He can go for Dancer or Bard, either way his growths are fine for it. Working on the bio; tell me when and how I should join in a PM, perhaps?

    Bio (WIP?): To those who don't know him (i.e., almost everyone), Father Duvall of Austrys is a cold, blunt, and rather caustic loner with the strength of one half his age. He takes no nonsense from anyone and never pulls a punch...metaphorically or literally.
To those that know his past, however, Gordon is a bitter, terribly lonely man attempting to atone for his perceived sins.

Around twenty five years ago, Gordon was a younger, happier (though still rather stoic) man working his way through the priesthood of Jadyne. However, he bumped into the love of his life (and childhood friend) purely by accident one day, and that meeting was enough to ignite a runaway romance. Gordon left the priesthood to marry his dearest, and the newlyweds settled in for a long and happy life together.

However, their marriage was barely seven months old when tragedy of the worst kind struck. In his despair, Gordon assumed that he was being punished by the Light Dragon for revoking his former vows and swore to never again leave her service. He joined the small sect known as Jadyne's Tears, a group that emphasized and studied the mystical dragon's seven years of grief. Gordon became a sort of warrior-priest, using his anger and pain as fuel to keep traveling year after year, seeking an end to his misery.

Gordon is around fifty years old at this time. However, he is more than strong enough to walk around in decent amounts of armor, and his voice and mind are sharp as a tack. Because of this, he often gives a first impression of a prematurely-greying adult. He's not fond of teenagers, adults, other old people...anyone, really, but especially those who do not take things seriously. However, he does have a soft spot for children, though he takes pains not to let others see it.

Heaven actually gives to-hit, you're thinking earth which is just as awesome as Heaven in my opinion. Heaven will make you pretty top-notch at ailment staffs though.
