Last time I tried to make a new world, the game crashed at year 14, and I suspect it's because of my new creature's entities. Here it is:

I suspect it's because I set my ruler to double as a general. What do you think?

Problem solved. As it would turn out, I made a mistake in keeping "START_BIOME" to wetlands. I also changed the general back to a sole military unit for good measure.

New problem. I'm not finding any of them in worldgen. I'm in Legends and there are none of my custom race. Why are they dying out so quickly?

does this race have NO_EAT and NO_DRINK? I suspect it could be starvation.
If not another one could be they are just getting killed off by everyone.

As you can see, they do have no_eat and no_drink, and they are strong in combat. It might be that they are starting in mountains.

I see two [BABY:] and [CHILD:] tokens in those raws.  The [CHILD:] duplication even having two different integers.  (Look below the attacks for the second.)

I see you have two CHILD and BABY tags, the lower ones overwrite your new ones at the top (so children take 12 years)

also in the entity try lowering the values for BIOME_SUPPORT and remove a few aswell, and give it a try

I found the issue! I had my starting biome as any_tundra instead of tundra. As soon as I fixed that, my custom race started coming up in the legends pages. I'm guessing there's no such thing as any_tundra, so they weren't spawning at worldgen. Now the only thing left to do is start up a game and wait until they start besieging my fortress.

I also fixed the duplicate child and baby tags. Thanks for calling that out.
