There is a rotting horse meat roast sitting in somebody's room making miasma. I told them to dump it, but nobody is even touching it. Help?

this is what happens when you give backpacks to your military.  Its a bug.  easiest solution is to channel that square and floor it over again.

The problem is that someone claimed that meal to eat it but then decided not to.  You can probably dump it if you use the clear owned item function of DF hack.

While adding magma to anything will make it dwarfy, adding the word "magma" to your post does not necessarily make it funny.

Alternatively, you can give the previous owner a new room, and turn that room into an isolation chamber for dwarfs you want to torment into insanity.

can you set rations for military to 0 and use dfhack cleanowned? Or does that only work on clothing?

Cleanowned works on food too.
